I just bought a Yildiz 12g and I love it. It is very balanced, has little recoil, and it smokes the clays. You should get one! I promise you will love it.
For any Americans viewing this video in September of 2020, Academy sports and outdoors is finally carrying this shotgun. Online price at Academy is $699. Probably the best Yildiz shotgun you can get in the U.S.
I just bought one and my scores just went up on the skeet range. Very comfortable. Love the pistol grip. The model sold at Academy is slightly different though. Ported 30 inch barrels, extended chokes, cheek rest does not go all the way forward.
@@mp40jager good information as there is not a ton of info on this gun. My fore end is a little different, not a Snable (sp?) like the one in this video and the recoil pad is different, a solid peace of rubber versus having the cut-outs. Quality control is not the same as high end guns so if you can find a few to look at and inspect yourself, you can get a great gun. My stock adjustment was not installed properly and I had to have Academy send it back to Briley's. There was a missing screw and Briley's replaced it with a black round headed screw that will not let the adjustment come all the way down like the factory silver flathead screws. Don't rely on Briley's to do good warranty work - make sure you inspect the gun very well before purchase. I'm still happy with my purchase, but be sure you do a full functional inspection before you purchase and don't rely on Briley's to make it right if there is something wrong.
I do not have an Academy store within a 1000 miles of me. I dont know if they will ship to my FFL or not.
Awesome thanks ✊🏿✨
Im still looking for this gun in new York academy wont do out out of state sales even through an ffl
Based on this review I purchased a 12 ga. sporter. Its a very nice gun. Its my fav. skeet gun over my citori hunter. I shoot it in trap with very good results. My main trap gun is an A400 target IM. Iike it because it weighs a little more with the 32 inch barrel. Thanks for the review. Disclaimer: Im 79 and been shooting only 10 months
I have owned a black spz sme for 2 yrs 2000 rounds thru it with out a malfunction. Cousin just ordered a pro sporter,he loves my field gun and he shoots a lot.We couldn't believe how it felt, shot ,& looked . It's as nice as my Browning, that I've had since 1983
Sounds like it locks up solid , the fittings done right. Id be proud to have it next to my Perazzi trap gun for shooting sporting clays.
Bought mine in 2020 still haven’t regretted it probably never will
i love it it is a poor mans sporting shotgun its about time somebody did it im getting one
Great review. Iv handled it and owning a Benelli and beretta decided to do a little homework on some of these Turkish shotguns. After handling them I must say that the tedna over under case hardened is by far the best produced shotgun to have come out of turkey.
Great video.
excellent value for money and all the staff are friendly what's not to like!
Good Shotgun and good informations, thanks
Great review !
Quality video, thank you
Here in America Yildiz is a Academy Sports brand. Not bad for 300.00 dollars.
After brexit can we buy them from the USA for that lol
@@vincentmckenna281 I've bought five Yildiz SPZ ME guns since 2012. Each cost me more than $300.00. The 28 gauge models cost about $535.00 each, taxes included. My ex wife's aluminum action 12 gauge was a little less than that, as was my steel action gun, but both were over $400.00 plus sales tax. That's not 700 quid, granted, but we'd be paying closer to that if the Yildiz guns weren't exclusively imported and sold by one retail chain in this country. If there was a U.S. importer, who then sold to three of the big wholesalers, who in turn sold to retail shops, the prices we pay for Yildiz SPZ MEs would be more in line with what they sell for in other countries.
The SPZ ME is a field gun though. I don’t think there is a sporting clay version available in the states. I want the 20ga/30” Yildiz sporting clay. But I don’t see it anywhere on Academy’s web site.
Damn I wish it was still 300 dollars lol
Bravo!
On the yildiz official website, they name this gun yildiz MX Trap, is it trap or sporting?
Thank you
your a badass dude
RIP I got a paper box 😂
Great video! Very tempted to buy one of these as my first gun (shotgun cert days away now) but can't decide between one of these or a second hand Beretta?
Sam Kerr I shoot with this gun on a regular basis and it is one of the best guns I've ever shot I'd definitely recommend it
Hi Sam, best advice is to handle both before deciding. If it's within travelling distance, they've got those and much more at the Oxford Gun Co, and you can try out their demo guns on the shooting ground too.
TSC Clay Shooting I live in Essex but am very tempted to give you guys a visit at Oxford Gun Company. Looks like a great place to buy a gun with sound advice and facilities.
Sam, I can tell you from experience that the YILDIZ shotguns are a great buy, I've owned a 20 and 12 gauge for 6+ years now and they continue to look and shoot beautifully. They are light and I find them easy to hike with, the 12 gauge I spent a bit of money on because I wanted the beautiful engraving, gold selector switch and trigger on it and let me say I love taking it out when I can to shoot or just clean :) I even have the P71 camo- semi auto 12 gauge....sweet. Love my YILDIZ rifles.
But where is the balance point? You say it's well balanced but no demo on where the tipping point is on the gun
I do like the underdogs. It does everything a top price gun does.. why pay for a label
i know that shotgun. i used it. it is perfeccccccccttttttt
I'm thinking about a Miroku mk70 sporter. I can pick one up in Australia for about $1350.00 Aussie dollars new. What do you guys reckon. Cheers
Hi Jason, the Miroku is a good gun. It's really down to what suits you. If you can, get along to a shop where you can handle a range of different guns and get sound advice (The Oxford Gun Co is ideal, but a bit far for you to travel!).
Hi just got my shot gun license and I’m thinking about buying a gun but I only want to buy one gun and I was thinking of the MK 38 with 30 inch barrels do you think this would be a good all-round gun for Clay pigeon shooting and game shooting thank you
john graham if you have the money buy the miroku beretta or browning. Nothing wrong with yildiz but if you can afford it always go for something better. Remember that gun fit is important. If beretta fits better than miroku then buy it. Gun fit is key.
Nicer wood than my Silver Pigeon Sporting, and looks like a right hand palm swell which he never mentions.
the lacquer on this wood comes off easily, you will find it degrades way faster than a beretta even though the wood looks better
You are correct about the palm swell.
For anyone looking at entering the sporting shotgun market- i would urge you to look at second hand market, these new turkish guns are "ok", but for the money you are opened up to some absolute gems that will last several lives. Pay 700 for a yildiz and sell it in a year for 450, plus you send money overseas, second hand gives money to your gunstore, put that yildiz next to an old miroku, 680 series or the likes and you will see the difference
Did this model have a steel or aluminum receiver. The recoil looked minimal.
howitzur good question not sure
🤣 came out in 74 but been here forever I do get what you're saying about value but when it comes to resale ata 12g 600 new 8 month old 250 etc you only have to look is that good value for money? Or a secondhand browning that has already lost its value and stay the same we wont mention your favourite brand lol but for that price probably a 626 what do you think ?are gun companies putting to much mark up on them or the factory price to high to start 🤔 great video
Please tell me your outlet in Pakistan
How much does it cost??
Hi, there's tech specs and a current price list on the Yildiz UK website here: www.yildizshotgunsuk.co.uk/guns/over-and-under/
Raziel Ortiz Barajas he said like 2-4 times how much
God how many times you gunna say 'urm ' ? Good review fella
Gilditz...
How the hell do you pronounce Y I L D I Z as Y I l d I t z, . ?? Just askin when English still pronounce W A R S A W as War Saw, hahahaha Good looking shotgun !
have not heard many good things about yildiz
Both of my teenage children have a 28 gauge Yildiz SPZ ME. I have one as well. I had an aluminum action body 12 gauge. I gave it to my ex-wife and bought a steel action body 12 gauge. I have first-hand experience with five SPZ ME's, with manufacture dates from 2012 to 2016. All five have properly regulated barrels. Those barrels are chrome lined. The exterior barrel finish is a satin black chrome that looks good while being hard-wearing, corrosion resistant, and minimizing glare. The triggers are of the mechanical type that don't require inertia to reset. The action design is of the "Brescia" type, similar to an I. Rizzini and a number of other Italian guns. It's not a ground breaking action design but its simple and it works. The materials the guns are made from are top quality and I have no complaints about the workmanship. The gun I gave to my ex-wife was used by her in a collegiate shotgun sports program and she put about 15,000 rounds through it in one year. I changed the firing pins in it after about 7,000 rounds as a precautionary measure, since she was competing with it. My son's 28 gauge was the first in my household and it has a tick of 10,000 rounds through it and it still looks and functions as new. I think the Yildiz SPZ ME is one of the best values to be had in shooting sport -good guns at a good price.
Is the recoil doable for woman ?
Recoil is fairly heavy on yilldiz 12bore range, light guns, at that price point you can buy second hand miroku etc or go for a lesser gauge
Did you buy a shotgun yet?
What about a 20. Bore? The Testosterone wants 12
But do I really need it?
Che gune khobiye
Keep your finger off the trigger if you aren’t shooting. Gun safety 101.
how can he see to shoot like that 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
From where ican get in Pakistan don't ignore.
UMM UMM UMM umm UMM dear god.
yikes, so many gun safety violations. I think you broke every single rule.
Thanks for your concern, but it's a gun test, filmed with fixed cameras in complete safety.
No, you pretty clearly have your finger on the trigger multiple times throughout the video while handling the firearm, sweeping the muzzle across a neighboring structure and placing one's hands beyond the muzzle are also SERIOUS risks.
This violates all 4 of the rules: All guns are to be treated as if loaded, never point the muzzle at anything you are not willing to destroy, keep your finger off the trigger unless ready to shoot and be sure of your target and that which lies beyond it.
It would be IF there was anyone in the vicinity and we weren't demonstrating the gun for the camera, in the complete absence of any ammunition. Rules are rules, but they can't apply in every circumstance, otherwise how would you change your choke tubes, or clean your gun, or a gunsmith ever do any work on a firearm? I take your point, but this is a gun test done in controlled circumstances, not a safety demonstration.
Shut up the gun wasnt loaded and he didnt point it at anyone
@@menono58 please don’t ever get into shooting sport . We can certainly do without you
