I have to resit maths tomorrow and I'm so scared I'm going to mess up, so I'm watching these videos to hopefully refresh my memory and do well tomorrow. I was 14 marks off from getting a Grade 4 last time i sat this exam

dont stress it. the higher paper is much harder. try and get into good sets and you will realise how easy these are compared to higher questions, the last couple on this paper are like the first couple on a higher. but good luck!

For question 16 what if your said she haven’t put it in ascending order
for question 26 how did you conclude that the boys are taller on average?

On Q23, how did you manage to rule out triangles B an d C as possibilities so quickly?
On triangle A If you do 45 + 55 = 100 you know the other area is 80 because it has to add to 80 so therefore you know that its going to be A and D as they have two angles the same and one length the same
@@miarose5340 I still don't get it as B and C have a 45 degree, a 55 degree and a side of 10cm also
why are u dividing by seven in question 19?
In question 26 why do you cross out seven nembers?
So that you can get the number that is exactly in the middle of all those numbers. There are 15 numbers so crossing out 7 from each each side will give you the middle number which is the median.
some explanations are not clear , he just pauses and doesn't explain, how to get to some parts of an answer.

q15 is a strange question for me
Question 26 - I don’t understand how u knew 158 was the smallest and 182 was the largest number
Because the first number on the stem and leaf diagram is the smallest and was 158 and the largest was 182 because it tells us that in the key
On question 15 how did you get 7 as the final answer?
His answer was 7.5 litres and you have to round it down to make the largest whole number so its 7

Question 21 I think it’s wrong
24:34 on Q17 dont you answer it separately. For example, work out 1 tenth of 500 which is 50, which makes the TV price be 450, but on Tuesday, instead of finding the 20% of 450 and subtracting Mondays Price from the 20% don't you work out, 20% of 500 which is a £100 deduction from 500 which gives you 400 therefore yes he can Buy it. My point is you work out a tenth of 500, and that will give you the total amount for Monday. Then work out Tuesdays separately by finding 20% of 500, which gives you £400 price on Tuesday.
The sales price is 450
it was reduced by 1 tenth aka 10% however that doesnt mean that 500 was the thing u had to find out, u had to take away 10% from 500 to find the selling price (450) and then find 10% of 450
in my opinion this is one of the most mind boggling questions on the test and i wouldve gotten it wrong if i didnt watch this. hope i helped

I was always confused on these questions, but I think it's due to when finding out degrees I got told by my teachers to put three numbers even if 0 is the first number
