- Green Tara & White Tara are the tears of Avalokiteśvara Guan Yin. Green Tara and White Tara are the manifestation of Avalokiteśvara and protect us when we face obstacles and challenges. The manifestations of Avalokiteśvara Guan Yin, her blessings and merits are immeasurable. This sharing given by Ven. Master Miao Jing. 觀音的眼淚 綠度母 白度母 妙淨法師
In Tibetan Buddhism, it is said that Avalokitesvara Guan Yin Bodhisattva viewed the Six Realms’ beings with her compassionate and sad eyes, Avalokitesvara Guan Yin found that the Samsara is suffering infinitely in the reincarnation web of greed, aversion, and ignorance. For awhile, sadness shed two rows of teardrops. From the tears streaming down his face two Taras manifested, a peaceful White Tara from the left and a fierce Green Tara from the right. So the Taras said to Guan Yin Bodhisattva: "Don't be sad, let us help you to relieve all living beings’s sufferings." Since then, Green Tara and White Tara have become the manifestation of Avalokitesvara's great compassion. Guan Yin Bodhisattva responds and says: "I will appear in various forms and various mantras. By presenting various forms and mantras, I endow all beings with fearlessness." The 33 manifestations of Guan Yin are the most well known, and her blessings and merits are immeasurable. If we can call her name and think of her, her blessings always exist.

Vandami everyone. I live in India and I am born in Neo buddhist family. Unfortunately there is very less temples, teachers and information of other yanas in India.
I am amazed to see that such a graceful information is available on CZcams. After seeing these videos of Guan Yin avlokiteshwar and tara, I want to know whether practioners worship Guan Yin or Bodhisattva Tara for spiritual progress and happiness in life.
I am a practicing Nichiren Shonin buddhist. I worship Shakyamuni Buddha but I have always felt such a deep connection to Guan Yin. I have watched the Avalokitesvara movie about Guan Yin and it touched my heart and made me cry. Guan Yin's compassion is inspirational

There was this night my tears flowed for 2.5 hours. I could relate this to the tears of guan yin. How she felt her devotee was suffering.
