To answer a repeated question: The lever on the left is the gear shifter (3 gears), down is first then move up to go into 2 and 3rd,. The lever on the right is a hand brake (rear wheel brake) to help rotate the car when you have understeer. If the truck is pushing (front end skidding) you give the right hand lever a little pull and it locks the rear and helps rotate the truck thru a corner when needed.
@JesusHippie, You got that right! Stadium Trucks & other off-road series use to be on TNN back in '83 to the 2002. They also had the swamp buggies on TNN motor sports with host Steve Evens. It started as American Sports Cavalcade then changed to Spike TV in 2003. It's a shame that this is not broadcasted on some kind of format!
I love seeing Robby Gordon win, since he got this SST formula sanctioned. This is the same reason why one of my fun cars has all the basic road race mods, but a soft/tight suspension and tires with matched mediocre grip on purpose. Such a great formula for fun.

(don't know how to spell his name), Brock Yates when they did the swamp trucks & I think there was someone else also. If you never see the swamp trucks run, you should, search for them on CZcams. They are really cool to watch! They should have left the ramps for NASCAR to make it more interesting! HaHaHa!!!
It had to have been after a truck load of Coors was bootlegd from Atlanta to Texarkana. With a Sheriff that was pissed off his son was stood up on his wedding day in pursuit.
Rain does seem to increase the challenge If you're good, it does give you an advantage. Particularly if your car is down on power. Rain is quite the equalizer. I did well in the wet. But I still prefer driving the Glen in the dry.

Morris Needs to b DQED for that carried way to much speed to make the cornner no attempt at it and because he carried that much speed he gained a position so he goes off track by ALOT skips jumps and still retains leadership that he ONLY gained because he didint slow down for the corner...theres no exscuse
I'm not seeing any windshield wipers on these trucks. I believe it to be a safety issue, maybe you guys should look into it. Interesting to see them run on the Glen, they almost look out of their element on a wide open course.

Wholeheartedly agree. In any other motorsport you cannot leave the track for advantage. I'd have penalized him to 4th, as he was in 3rd.
