Why do you all say to use "tap water"? That is what the repair guy says causes mineral buildup and we should use distilled water so less descaling is required. We have a newer Samsung oven with steam function, with a metal reservoir which you call a jug, I think? I fill it prior to steaming. Where does the water go after steam function is complete? My reservoir is usually empty after that. Manual says after descale it has to be drained with oven mitts because it's hot? Water is never hot and never empty. Even the repair guy can't explain much about the oven's steam function. It seems to be a mystery. Please educate me. I'm desperate to figure this out. I use it to steam bake artisan bread and it needs to work.

I loved my miele steam oven until it stopped working less than 2 years old. It cost me 490 USD to fix the fan. The company did nothing to stand behind it
very expensive but can't stand 55 degree hot water ... plastic will start to crack....why it cost so much then??
Volumne is too low.
