- The New York Jets had an active offseason as they try to build a winning team around Aaron Rodgers. After the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins lost key players, can we now call the Jets division favorites? It isn't quite that simple. The Jets have a shot at taking the Eastern crown if everything clicks. There are still plenty of question marks that remain with this team. Anything could truly happen this year.

The Bills are weaker but dangerous so long as we run the ball 40% and double Keon. The Jets will destroy them in the 3rd quarter. Miami is also retooling but they suck in the cold and don’t want to re-sign Tua. At worst we split with them. We will win the division with a 12-5 or better record.
You had a question where a jet fan said dolphins have got worse. As a dolphin fan I disagree. The jet fan tends to get defensive these days if someone doesn't think their AFC East will be one for jets. Rodgers coming back is a major positive. Tyron Smith still plays at elite level but no LT has missed more games the last five years. Simpson is a good run blocker but led league in holding penalties. Mosesis an upgrade at RT. Williams has history of injuries.They lost Huff and replaced him with Reddick. I live outside Philadelphia and watched Reddick. It's a wash.Corley has limited route tree so I'm not expecting 1000 rookie season. Let's talk Miami. The narrative is Miami is worse. They lost Wilkins and Hunt and that's a loss. But Miami is improved at RB WR TE LB CB and June 1 we get 18 million. The Miami is worse narrative isn't really thought out.
As a 40+ year Jets fan, this expectation stuff is f---ing hilarious. Me, I'll be happy if we have a good team and good season. These over the moon expectations, well, they're crazy. I just don't want the Jets to suck. For a change.
Yes it is thought out lol. You had major defections and injuries on your O and D lines. You grabbed another speedy RB you already have two instead of addressing the OL. If I was Tua I wouldn’t play until game 16 get players insurance. The Dolphins will suck without Tua which I guess is what they want for the 2025 draft.

dolphins skill positions are still good but they got worse in the trenches whereas the Jets improved in the trenches - and that is where games are won and lost. The advantage I give the dolphins right now is coaching cuz McDaniels has gotten the best of Saleh’s defense to this point
