Nice compilation. The cow is actually on the roof of my house. The rescuers wanted the cow to jump back into the water so they could swim it to dry land. This cow was not stupid, and the last thing it wanted was to jump back into the floodwaters. The rescuers chased it around and around my roof before it slipped and fell back into the water.

I can tell you its origin, ( and thank you John McK ) I was the person who discovered this image on the online news arial pics.
When I found this image online of the Qld floods, I then alerted 3AW of my find, it then featured over several other news stations, - Your right John,... it was no stupid cow, I hope it survived that ordeal.
