@@Log4Jake Around the same time there was a show called Jeremiah, It had a limited budget but was quite fun (pre-walking dead) with Luke Perry, Malcolm Jamal Warner, and Sean Astin

A great list with at least a couple I’ll try out. Severence is outstanding and unusual, with a season one finale that is mind blowing.
Fallout and Dark Matter were awesome, hope they get renewed. JK Simmons’ best series is Counterpart, if you can find it.
Only ones I have seen are Lost in Space, Last Ship & Dark Sky's and they were all amazing and kept you engaged and wanting to see more! Thanks for list!

I would like to add the 6 episode "Infiniti" series to your list.

There are so many good sci-fi series to watch and this was a great list. I remember getting hooked on Defiance and binge watching that years ago. It might feel dated now but it rekindled my love of the genre.

I can't believe you haven't included The Expanse, one of the best science fiction shows out there that actually gets the science right. None of the typical lazy instant communications and travel through the solar system, no, it deals with the time lag for communication, the actual travel times it takes to move about, etc.
I freakin love the expanse, it was actually a show I was really bummed when it concluded, I did a review on it when the channel was really new but might be one of my favorite series ever of any genre
i watched last ship during lockdown. the plot was very interesting and given the situation we were all in it was a good watch. the last couple of season were bad though , the last being the worst of all. they should have ended the show on 2/3 seasons.

Just finished Severance (also thanks to your comment section lol), it was a tad boring for a while, but stayed super interesting and then it really kicked into high gear and turned out to be a badass show near the end of season. Highly recommended.
I think Severance S1 is at the top echelon of shows like The Leftovers, Dark, Chernobyl, Watchmen, and now Fallout. Check out some of the theories regarding the Luman texts and the significance of the colours. Even if it seems slow at times, there is a lot more being conveyed.
Sugar on AppleTV+ has some SciFi elements and is also a must watch for every detective noir fan.
A nice sel;ection, Dark Matter is very good and being a mini series it is also a short binge. Falling Skies is good as well but the ending is pretty meh. Constellation is really hard to follow, like interstellar or Tenet hard but sadly not as good as these movies.
Lost in Space was Awesome! The 100 was ok getting past the teen drama. Starting Fallout next week and liked Night Skies, suxed they cancelled it. Falling Skies was also very good., The Last Ship was good, Havent seen the rest.

Seen all but 3 on the list ( but plan to do so) Odyssey 5 ran 19 eps 2002 - 2004 cancelled to soon with Peter Weller .. Almost Human was another fave cut down before an adequate chance.

Haha you might be the 10th person who mentioned Silo. Promise I love silo and it would have definitely made the list if I didn’t just put it on another so I didn’t just want to talk about it again but 100% awesome show!!
Falling Skies, Last Ship...ugh.. no
I watched the entirety of the series of Falling Skies and it’s awfully bad. I kept watching because the world building is good, the production is great, the aliens were cool and I really wanted to see an alien invasion but holy f%€, the script, direction and acting are from bad to awful. I also saw Lost in Space and shares the same qualities as Falling Skies. I can’t recommend none of that 2 unless you are eager to eat a pretty cake of shit. I agree with with you in Severance, the first season of 3% and the Foundation.
Silo is far superior to most on this list, Dark, Orphan Black, Fringe, Timeless, Travellers, Continuum, Future Man, Colony, Devs, and the original (SYFY) Dark Matter could be considered.
I love Silo, Dark is one of the my all time favs and travelers too. but I already had them on a list I made recently so I didn’t want to just say the same stuff again or recommend the same stuff but all these you mention I agree, are solid options

I loved the 1-Season they gave us… but that was it, they left us hanging, and cancelled the show. So disappointed in Prime!
@@user-zd8hh6yk7f A SciFi Theme! Firefly, Frequency, Colony. and I stopped commiting to anything from SYFY after they cancelled Dark Matter. After the effort to make and viewers to watch, the least they can do is let them wrap up shows properly.
