dark hyper sonic/shadow is actually impossible in sonic nazo unleashed story, because hyper and super forms are made of positive chaos energy, and dark form is made of dark chaos energy, this is also why sonic could not have beat nazo using his dark form, because even if the form is stronger than super it uses dark energy the same as nazo

Shadow, I just wanna say that you basically do have a dark form (a dark super form to be more specific), when Sonic's fur/quills raise up and turn black, that means he's in his dark form (which I assumed due to the info I've gathered), but if his whole body turns black, that means he's in his dark super form, and sure you may not have a confirmed "normal" dark form, you do however (basically) have a dark super form, because when you take-off your inhibitor rings while in super, some people call you "Dark Super Shadow", but you can't stay in it for long since taking-off your inhibitors in general risks your life, and being in super costs rings and since you'd be twice as strong you'd probably loose twice the amount of rings every second, and maybe you can make it so the more rings you have, the stronger an all-out attack. So, if you had max rings, you could make your strongest Chaos Blast ever.
