- The leaders of NDC caucus and NPP caucus in parliament have nominated candidates for the Speaker of Parliament role.
The NDC leader in parliament, Haruna Iddrisu nominated Alban Kingsford Sumani Bagbin while the NPP leader in parliament, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu nominated Prof Mike Aaron Oquaye.
