And yeah, it doesn't seem like she's too popular with SW creators I know are reasonable (even Theory said "Nerd Council" is DEFINITELY not coming back, so someone amongst its ranks rubbed him the wrong way).

There are not many Cara Dune toys anymore.
They literally pulled the Hasbro Black Series and TVC off the shelves, Hot Toys never made one.
The only stuff that still happens is like LEGO or toys that are not screen accurate at all so you can't make out the face (likeness rights would mean having to pay money, the character's outfit alone is fine i guess).
It is extremely pathetic and petty. I'm proud to have my Black Series Cara Dune in my Mando display anyway.

I've had to point this out a few times now that these practices aren't even new. I know it's a struggle for a lot of people, but remember before Twitter. Remember product review listings and how many if them were clearly written by bots or by people who were paid in some way to load reviews. It wasn't even that long ago that product brand management companies were advertising that they could manage and fix your product's online presence. How else would they be doing that other than bots and fake reviews. It's just become more noticable as they've concentrated that onto major platforms.
How is it that she was able to become even MORE attractive than she already was. The world can be an impressive place.

I own all the movies, including the so-so third trilogy, Solo, Rouge One, all seasons of the Mandalorian and Obi-Won. I also own Kara Dune's Funko Pop. I loved Gina in the Mandalorian!! This is the thing I try to tell people about sheeple: they don't "think". They go with the herd. The rulers know this. While many thinking individuals assume "we just gotta tell them the facts" they seriously overestimate sheeple's desire or capability to think and they seriously underestimate the sheeple's desire to be a part of the perceived consensus.
So spend less time trying to convince sheeple using logic, spend more time making sheeple believe most people already agree with you. It's not an easy task of course, but it's way more effective than yelling at a farm animal.
I still try to give people a CHANCE to reason (depending on the situation, of course), but you are right in that there are ABSOLUTELY some people who just won't listen to reason.
Here's what justice looks like: Gina wins a lawsuit against Disney/LucasFilm and they have to pay her a substantial amount of money for defamation, slander, loss of wages, et al. To pay her, Disney has to sell their Star Wars franchise which is then purchased by Gina and the Daily Wire. They then hire Jon Favreau as the creative director so that he can continue his vision of the Star Wars stories, including Rangers of the New Republic, in which Gina is the lead character. It could happen. (I've written this in a couple other comment sections if you happen to see it again).
