1080P FULL HD RECORDING:
Getting to your next adventure may entail driving in both the day and night, so it’s important to have a dash camera that can clearly record in any driving condition. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology automatically adjusts the exposure and white balance for a clear recording during sudden lighting changes and night vision allows you to capture footage when it’s dark. The DVR-C320R records in full 1080p HD at 30 fps with a 140-degree viewing angle, allowing you to capture accident footage and license plate capture.
DRIVE ASSIST:
Built-in safety features allow you to keep your hands and the wheel and eyes on the read with audible alerts heard through your vehicle’s sound system. The DVR-C320R includes a front collision warning that alerts you when you’re near the vehicle in front of you. Lane departure warnings alert you when you veer too far from the lane. Finally, a front car movement warning alerts you when you’re stopped in traffic and the car in front of you has started to move again.
MONITOR YOUR VEHICLE FROM THE APP:
Footage captured by your DVR-C320R can be viewed on your smartphone with the free ALPINE Recording Viewer app. View real-time recording around your vehicle with Live View or review past recordings with the File List option. Use the following functions to configure your DVR-C320R settings like:
Recording function settings: Adjust impact sensitivity, parking mode, and Super Night Vision.
Traffic Safety Warning Setting: Adjust drive assist functions, such as lane departure warnings, forward collision warnings, and front vehicle departure notifications.
The app can also adjust the camera brightness, memory card storage, and system settings.

The DVR-C320R doesn’t stop recording after the engine is turned off. When parked, the DVR-C320R enables impact-triggered recording and will record up to 10 seconds after impact.
DUAL CAMERA CONFIGURATIONS:
The DVR-C320R comes with a universal mounting bracket that can attach directly to the inside of the windshield for a factory fit and finish and minimal obstruction on the glass. The DVR-C320R includes a secondary camera for an additional recording device anywhere in the vehicle. Thank you Alpine Teguh. I learned about my new C320R from your video far more than reading the manual. The installation was done by a certified Alpine Dealer and he VLOG's the unit yet his crew didn't really explain it. I am eager to put this to a test and go through the app for settings. Thanks.
“Super simple” wire runs through the headliner, down the pillar with an airbag logo on it and into/through the dash… 😶 lol simple if you’ve done that before.
Its unbelievably simple, I have a BlackVue and ran these wires a couple of times with no issue whatsoever. Just don't be aggressive when you're around the Airbag pillars.
There are already built in dash cams and other cams on some cars. Check out some of the Tesla cam videos on you tube. They operate even when the car is shut off. For 2022 a lot of new cars will have built in cams and lower insurance rates because of it. For example, the 2022 Telluride is rumored to have built in cams.

This is the same thing as the Thinkware F790 for 2x the price. The main differentiating feature is connecting to an Alpine head unit and that may be possible with both units. Either way, this was well presented and the unit works really well.
Are videos stored in a cloud in the event that the camera or SD card is stolen? Thanks

Just worked out it is avaialbe in the US store. Please make this avaialbe for download in Australia please. It is in the Google store Australia but I use iPhone.

Great video. I just bought the Alpine dash cam. So, does this camera notify you if there is any activity while in park mode? It appears that you have no connection once you walk away with your iPhone. For example, The app does not work while I am in the house because it disconnects from the device. Therefore I cannot see what is happening from my iPhone while I am in my house.
I need Alpine to add a way to play the audio cues on Bluetooth headsets. You would have a complete monopoly on the market for motorcyclists as far as driver aids
I have a ILX-W650 which was the replacement for the 207. Why is this compatible with a discontinued unit and not my 650? Doesn't make any sense. I'm hoping that can be added later. This would be the main reason to buy this.

I just got the DVR-320R and there is no file on memory card to download the viewer for Mac. I check online for it and found it on Alpines website and my Mac won’t do it bc the certificate is expired. Any idea where I can get the viewer for Mac?

So it's either having the dash cam control or loose the Maestro... doesn't really sound like a good solution because either way you're losing so much functionality...
Question … I just finished my install on this great system…. Is there a back up camera function ? Meaning when I put the vehicle in reverse the rear camera is automatically displayed on the screen?

Hi, I recently had the Alpine ILX-507 installed in my car. When I try to connect to WiFi, I see Alpine_F3 listed, however, it asks me for a password. Do you know if there is supposed to be a default password I should know about? Thanks! :)

Yes, it all depends on which dash cam you're connected to.
Are the "manual recordings" broken into 60 second files or do they save as the entire length of the manual recording video as 1 file?

Can you show us how to configure an Alpine head unit (ine-w987hd or X308U) with this dash cam. Using one of these head units, you're supposed to be able operate, control and view the DVR-C320R through the radio.
How can I get the alpine pc viewer ? It did not come on memory card on dvr-c320r.

It is, because I have the ilx 507 and you could see it in the radio and your wires are just plug and play from the radio to the cameras. I comes with borh wiring, one for the 12v socket ang the other is to connect to the radio. The 507, 509 and 511 are ready for it. I just installed mine today. I wish was 4k. I also connected a front camera on this radio. hope this helped.

Everything can be viewed and reviewed via the smartphone app in the case the car is stolen.

One little criticism that I might have is that your WebCam that you’re using to film yourself is super choppy. Like the frames per second are around the mid-20s lower 30s. But that dash cam looks clean as hell.🤔🤔🤔 if that’s intentional, you sir are a genius
Any plans for Alpine to supply a low cost adapter for USB Power input? There is one very good aftermarket company that has a break out adaptor from the rear view mirror power, with a USB output. I just want to plug into that connector.
This is a very feature packed camera by the way! I don't think there is a need for 4K dash cams right now until the price of fast high capacity memory tumbles a bit further. Image quality is more important!
Is there a way to have this device auto record every time you drive and then you just erase it later
This camera is continuously recording and as the SD card gets full it will erase the oldest recorded footage.
Can warnings be disabled?????? If so this is sold on me for 2 of our trucks.

So…essentially this is just a Thinkware dash cam ( pure garbage ) rebranded as an alpine dash cam….got it DONT BUY IT!!!

I bought the Dvr-320r and connected it to the ilx-f511 head unit. I regret the purchase because the recorded video speed stamp is to small to read because the poor resolution on the 511 display, Alpine support denies the issue exist and the iPhone Alpine Video viewer App does not connect to the Wi-Fi on the dash cam when the dash cam is connected to the f511. You have to remove the sd card and use a laptop to see any recorded speed stamps. So they are selling a unit for almost $500 that does not deliver basic functionality found in dash cams that cost half as much. DO NOT BUY IT.
