Compilation of the greatest Sun Tzu quotes and Miyamoto Musashi quotes. Back to back Warrior Quotes to Give You Strength from the greatest Military strategists of their time.
Sun Tzu was a Chinese general, military strategist, writer and philosopher who lived in the Eastern Zhou period of ancient China. Sun Tzu is traditionally credited as the author of The Art of War, an influential work of military strategy that has affected both Western and East Asian philosophy and military thinking.
Miyamoto Musashi (12 March 1584, Ōhara-Chō, - 13 June 1645), also known as Shinmen Takezō, Miyamoto Bennosuke or, by his Buddhist name, Niten Dōraku, was a Japanese swordsman, philosopher, strategist, writer and rōnin. Musashi, as he was often simply known, became renowned through stories of his unique double-bladed swordsmanship and undefeated record in his 61 duels

Physical warfare is extremely expensive: human lives (death & mutilation), buildings (loss of housing and production), land & natural resources, money (economic depression), food (famine), art & culture, health (disease).
Psychologicsl warfare which seeks to break your enemy's fighting spirit without breaking their bodies and incurring collateral damage is simply more cost effective.
