    That portrait of Queen Mary wearing Cullinan 1,2,3,4 and 5 is just extraordinary. There might be 6 and 8, but she’s wearing do much, they just get lost. I love Queen Mary’s tastevin jewelry

    Brooches are a passion of mine, so I thoroughly enjoyed this video!!
    Brooches are such a great accessory - so versatile, therefore it's just silly that some people look down upon them.
    I have a brooche on almost every day of the week (maybe except in the warmest summer days when I'm wearing a light dress).

    My only complaint is the pronunciation of Brooch (It's bro- ch) and Bow.

    THOSE WHO ALWAYS CRITICIZE HOW YOU PRONOUNCE MAY HAVE ENGLISH AS THEIR SECOND LANGUAGE THAT IS WHY THEY HAVE HARD TIME UNDERSTANDING YOU OR THEY ENVY YOU. YOU HAVE PERFECT ENGLISH. AND IF YOU ARE FROM ENGLAND OR SCOTLAND THAT IS HOW ENGLISH SUPPOSE TO BE SPOKEN BECAUE ENGLISH LANGUAGE ORIGINATED FROM THOSE PLACES. PEOPLE SHOULD BE THANKFUL TO YOU FOR SHOWING SUCH GOOD VIDEOS. EXCELLENT PRESENTATION. IAM VERY PLEASED TO SEE BROOCHES I NEVER SEE BEFORE.

    I perfer when you do the videos with your accent. You may not get it perfect but it makes the video more personal. Your English will get better with practice so keep going. Don't give up. People like the time and effort you put in trying to speak a non native language. You are the brand.

    How difficult is it to say the word ‘bow’
    A simple three letter word is ‘O’ not ‘A’
    Let’s not start with the pronunciation of ‘ flamingo’ or ‘pave set’

      That is not true. There have been no reports about who inherited the brooch. It was part of the late Queen’s personal collection. Camilla wore the ‘Queen Mary’ crown which originally had the Cullinan III and IV in it, but they were removed and made into the Granny’s Chips brooch, which Queen Mary left to the late Queen.

      @@veni.vidi.reliqui7946Yes, and Camilla has had them put into the Crown she used at the Coronation. The drop shaped one is upside-down in the cross at the top and the square one is in the centre of the forehead band. There's a YT.

    Why did the brooch look so huge on Queen Mary and “normal” on Queen Elizabeth?

    • @JewelleryPleasure
      @JewelleryPleasure  Před 3 měsíci

      It's because on some of the photos of Queen Mary, she wore not Granny Chips, but combination of Cullinan I and Cullinan II instead (which both are much larger)
