I never got pulled over, but I had decided in advance that if I were pulled over, and the police wanted to search my rental car, I was going to say NO! I would do the same now with my own car, but in a rental car, it is even more important to say no, because you never know what someone else who rented that car previously might have stashed in the car.
I have been in a situation twice before where I refused a search request and one that I asked cops to leave private property and all of those ended correctly. ...and then drop the cop off at the train station. traffic cops make excellent speed bumps.
Don't resist if it comes to arrest. Even if two police officers are kicking your head like soccer ball don't try to cover it with hands.
Troll Alert!!!
I want to see videos of people getting searched illegally putting poison on the carpets so when they put the dog in there, they get the karma they deserve.
It's the scumbag on the other end of the leash that needs dealt with.
dumbest comment i have seen in a long while
Just say no!!!!!!!
Another slimeball lawyer. The biggest part of the problem
Only time an officer ever asked me was on a traffic stop on the interstate in the Texas panhandle, I was in a recently purchased car with paper tags and had the window down with no shirt on and my dog was riding shotgun. I imagine that I looked like a drug runner. When he asked I just said, sure, knock yourself out and in about three or four minutes he had finished his search and my dog and I were back on the road, still looking sus.
Fortunately for you, the previous owner didn't leave his stash in the car son.
no one cares, this video is not about you though you seem to think it is
how did the boots taste ?
This is bs... that's how they catch drug smugglers. Smh
Does the Ohio law I mentioned somehow conflict with this video?, probably and thats why this lawyer will not respond because he probably knows the law I'm talking about and it would not help there business to tell you everything because they want your money, most likely answer.....
yeah. but, then the pig says he smells pot and it gives him the right to search your car without your permission.
Then lawyers can challenge that in court.
@@richb2229 challenge what? that the cop smelled pot?
Tell the cop to remain very calm as smelling something that isn't there is a strong symptom ( phantosmia) that they are suffering from a stroke and that they need to lie down at the side of the road immediately whilst you call for medical assistance!
Not in Pa. anymore thank goodness.
@@fransmith8992 yes exactly
I ride with two one hundred pound dogs they never want to search my car
as a lawyer trying to educate ohioans you should post the law I talked about here so ohioans know this laws name at least and can say to the officer the laws name and how the officer is in violation of ohio law pertaining to how traffic stops are made....
He said 4th amendment of the constitution
@@lpattenaude1716 ????
No point citing the law to an officer that doesn't know said law, they'll just accuse you of making it up.
@@SimBir08 is that how you think things work? you have no ideal whats going on here duhhhhh!
Oh you're going to highlight some stupid answer instead of being a man about it and saying you don't know the law huh.... typical smug lawyer durp a durp.......
