  • No riding at the moment, all on lock down, i thought i would do a walk around of my bikes that i have in the collection, you might like it ?

    Have a restored '82 french import in red which I'm hanging onto to go towards the nursing home fees in 40 years ;-). Great fun little smoker. Resto done by Dale Halford at Vintage Voitures before import.
    Yours sounds sweet!
    I too thought they came in yellow, but maybe that was just in europe. Keep the vids coming 🤙

    Love the sound of two stroke and smell of the oil; my first was an ‘86 MTX125 and got me through my licence in Oct ‘87👍

      See you spotted the mistake, that's a 125 not a 50 as it's the wrong colour to be a 125, the guy who rebuilt it liked the yellow, I had a blue one when I was 17 😁

    We do a restoration for me and my Son on a Ts125 Er and Ts 250 Er from 1980, the Bigger is for me 🙂 hope we will ready in Spring 2021here in Germany

      Hi Callum, my original was used as a farm bike, it was then registered on a Q plate then used it on the road when turned 17, now your interest in motorbikes you'll never have any money 😯👍, keep safe 👍

      SIMON B yeah, mine has a full floater and was a Zimbabwe farm bike, so it’s been beat around the bush a bit, I have no intention to get it road legal, I’m more of an enduro rider, and the roads around here are dangerous, however you were right about the whole money thing, now I’m saving up for a KTM 300 2 stroke😂

    Ts125ER has a square shaped rear suspension harm... but it's not aluminum...I have one currently under refurbishing.

      @@SIMONB1 in fact as far as can be...every single part is disassembled... except the engine NOT YET dismantled. Next step is getting the main parts repainted (epoxy powder and pro spray paint) and zinc coating every screw and small parts...I don't plan to ride this year...

      @@SIMONB1Yeah that's a Ts 125 x. Im 16 and i have a 1982 Ts 125cc erz and it is so good bike that im not going to sell it anytime, and i will keep it to grave.

    Love the Er, my old mate had a brand new Er 50 and another old mate had a Er 185 that he blew piston and i bought it for £15. Great bikes. I could almost smell the castrol r when you kicked her up. Ride safe

    stunning bike mate, only thing I could see that is different is all the chrome peices have been painted black. Keep up the videos mate

    I had the blue one. Reg mfv21x. Loved it. Speedo used to dance around 75mph. Can still smell the 2 stroke now.
    Wrong graphics. Should be on a slant I think

    You say something is wrong
    I’d guess the graphics are not for the yellow body work probably for the red or blue. Didn’t the yellow have blue graphics same as the RM
    N/T and a lot of black. But personally I see nothing wrong. Bike looks lovely and sounds good too. Sweet.

      @@SIMONB1 just read your reply I didn’t know that. I have a 1977 Kawasaki ke250 / ke175 the 1977 Yamaha DT250mx / 1975 DT400B. And a couple of 1975 Honda Elsinore MT 250’s
      And 1976 Kawasaki’s kx125/250/400 and a lot of newer bikes I think if you press on my picture you see a couple cheers and thanks Simon.

      @@SIMONB1 not sure it’s right for her. She as a new Ducati monster 696. and a Honda mt250 a. Kawasaki kx125. She’s already had a xr650r supermoto. And a Derby super moto. Ho and she’s got Yamaha. SR500 bobber too that we got from Brat in Japan.
      She isn’t short of bikes But we keep looking for that perfect fit. And to be honest I love the concept of the spitfire. Super lightweight bike with killer looks. With supermoto/
      flat track handling. With that old style single thumping motor And the electric starter. Yeah the spitfire ticks a lot of boxes.

      Sorry Clive, you could try crooks Suzuki in barrow in Furness, they are a new old part specialist on Suzuki's, but then again the 80 engine wa borrowed from the ts80 apparently 🤔, hope you find one , Simon B 👍

    Great bike, have a 79 125 er myself. Finding it very hard to get parts, speedo not turning, very hard to find also headlight to fit housing, without paying through the roof. Any idea yourself where to source? Hoping to finish mine like you're own too.

      @@SIMONB1 Hi Simon, I’m in the South Island of New-Zealand, and I have 3 bikes. Suzuki DR-200,86 motor in a 2010 bike, an 82 PE-175z, and a modified Suzuki TS-125er. My TS-125er has Honda XL-250r front air shocks, rear air shocks, XL-250r fuel tank, and a set of Boyesen fibre reeds. Also has an after market performance muffler.
      Goes like a cut cat mate!
      I’m running a 15 T front sprocket and 45 T rear.
      Be interested in knowing what sprocket s you run on front and rear?
      My gearbox is actually from a Suzuki TF-125 farm bike which has a lower ratio first gear.
