As a german i currently relate alot to the english since 2016.
As Southgate is the same quality of manager as Joachim Löw is.
Both teams were/are only successful when the players go directly against their managers wishes.
The english need to stop playing a casual 9-1-0 after SCORING just because Gareth doesnt like risk.
(best example is Schürrle WC14, Final: His run to the line with a hard cross, around hips height was basically forbidden for an entire decade by Löw... its also the reason we won the cup)
