I have two runs in now, and I am really enjoying it. BUT! I have not been hitting the ramp hard at all. It's still cold here, (-1C today) so I am not going to hammer the plastic until it warms up.

I wanted to give it a shot but just too much wrong with it at this point. If there was a roller option I'd be on it.
Fun truck, definitely a love it or hate truck 😆 the stock tires have grown on me and seem to have gotten better and have more air control then I thought they would. Looking forward to a run vid 💪

Instead of using those risers in the rear arms i am surprised that no one has thought of just using the longer rear sledge shocks both front and rear.. or maybe the extended length of the sledge rear shock still isn't long enough compared to the short shock and riser? i did the longer rear sledge shocks on my maxx v2 and the extra shock travel made a huge difference.
Let me first say please spend your money how you see fit. However, I don' understand why somone would spend $700 plus tax and then completely gut a car. If you knew you didn't like the electronics then why buy it? That's throwing good money after bad in my opinion. Personally I love my Traxxas cars but I live 40 min from their HQ and their service and support is absolutely fantastic. The people working at their store are first rate and super nice and that's why I spend my money with them. Please also note that I own Arrma, Team Associated and Redcat as well.
Belted tires tells me it’s more of a race truck than a brasher🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
I’m curious if a Maxx Rustler model would have this many opinionated reviews on release?
This was the most disappointing Traxxas vehicle I have ever owned. The steering servo is garbage. The C Hubs broke almost instantly. This car could be great if you sink an additional $400 into it so for $1100 USD it's not even close to worth it. Very disappointed with this vehicle.

Same with maxx it’s great truck but going need a few hundred for that next level you already get cheaper out of the box from others. If you know rcs than you want those things traxxas marketing as upgrades.so all depends if willing to spend the money or can afford it .
I just find it fun one a 700 US dollar. Truck that they can’t even give you metal hex’s and yet arrma for the same money gives us metal bulkheads💪
