I understand what you mean. But , if you think a little more, realize that nostalgia makes you remember only the good things of the past and not the bad.

@@mercurytiltswitch5378 I think over the radio on my school bus over 20 years ago. I live in Singapore. It was before the DJs started work so the channel was just playing music without saying the song names and that's why it was so hard to find
Tell me im not the only one running back to all the 90s and early 2000 music wishing we could go back in time where the world is less crazy and no snowflakes in sight.
No... I've been curating a list of songs from this era, specifically the early half of 2003-2012. This was the period I started working on a side job as a postman and it was my first exposure to pop. Certain songs like this one were on repeat for several weeks. They fill me with memories of warm envelopes, printing ink, hot summer and cold winters where, as soon as my bags were empty, I could just go home and enjoy the rest of the Saturday and Sunday off.
Lol there have been snowflakes throughout history and always will be, the only difference is that they now have social media to find like minded people. From Cádiz, in Spain. 2 days ago i didn't know how is called that song that reminds me happy times. Now i'm in love forever with this song. Is the typical song you hear on the car radio going to the water park or the pool. Especially here in Spain with stations such as Kiss FM, Los40, Melodia FM, Europa FM, M80Radio...
Ahh the old days when I was 6 years old sat in the backseat of the car wile my mum was driving this was 1 of her favourite songs I'm 27 years old now times av changed I'm playing this song for my mum r.i.p love u so much xxxxxxx
Your memory is so similar to mine. I'm 28 now and it was my dad driving the car. He passed away almost two years ago... R.i.p to your mum and thanks for sharing
The Song has a real feel to it, voicing her worries and doubts, which everyone has about relationships, on both sides, not only her , you really need to hear the song to know whats really going on, love the Song!
I remember around 2010- 2011 I heard this song on the radio at home. Usually the radio jockey announces the song title after the song was played, but for this song they skipped it. I just remembered the lyrics ' I'm sitting down here yeah am I inivisible". I searched everywhere for this song and I couldn't find it. Few years later in college , I suddenly remembered the verse and tried searching for it again. Almost had tears in my eyes when I found it, it felt like that childhood friend you had vague memories about but when you meet them in adulthood it's all clear.
something like this happed to me quite often with songs. For me it war even mor edifficult because I only started to learn english when I was 11. I still don't really get the song though, I mean I understand all the lyrics, but I still don't get it
@@yeahiagree1070 lol this story isn't fake at all! Why did you "blatantly "just assume it's fake? If you wanna know the details, I heard this first time around 2010, there was no internet at my house and so the only source for listening to songs was from radio. There is a radio station called 91.9 indigo in bangalore, India(where I reside) which plays only international songs. This song came about in it once when they were playing indie genre songs. I just remembered a line from the song and had memorised it to eventually find it. When I moved to college, there was free wifi there. And in 2016/2017 I managed to type parts of lyrics of songs whose names i did not know and viola! I found this gem of a song. I commented just to express my feelings and experience, and to know whether somebody else felt the same. I don't know what made you question it's authenticity.what do "you" even get out of it?
The year is 2000 and I visited my father at his place. He took me to a boat that served all you can eat pancakes. This song was playing on the radio when we sat and ate our pancakes. Good times!

Agreed, kinda makes me wish I could go back In Time. Didn't have a care in the world compared to now and most music sucks in this day and age! I'm in my 30s also.
Back when music was simple with lyrics with a meaning , no superficial people , no social networks like today distancing people , no hypocrisy , no radical feminism or the other way around. Back when men and women used to understand each other , back to the days when music meant music.
Lyrics:: I'm sitting down here, but hey you can't see me Your words cut rather deeply, they're just some other lies I'm hiding from a distance, I've got to pay the price Defending all against it, I really dont know why You're obsessed with all my secrets, you always make me cry You seem to wanna hurt me, no matter what I do I'm telling just a couple, but somehow it gets to you But I've learned how to get revenge, and I swear you'll experience that some day I'm sitting down here, but hey, you cant see me Kinda invisible, you don't sense my stay Not really hiding, not like a shadow Just thought I would join you for one day I'm sitting down here, but hey, you can't see me I'm trying not to avoid you, just dont wanna hear your voice When you call me up so often, I really don't have a choice You're talking lie you know me, and wanna be my friend But thats really too late now, I won't try it once again You may think that I'm loser, that I don't really care You may think that it's all forgotten, but you should be aware 'Cause I've learned to get revenge, and I swear you'll experience that some day I'm sitting down here, but hey, you can't see me Kinda invisible, you don't sense my stay Not really hiding, not like a shadow Just thought I would join you for one day I'm sitting down here, but hey, you can't see me Kinda invisible, you don't sense my stay Not really hiding, not like a shadow Just thought I would join you for one day You seem to wanna hurt me, no matter what I do I'm telling just a couple, but somehow it gets to you But I've learned how to get revenge and I swear you'll experience that some day I'm sitting down here, but hey, you cant see me Kinda invisible, you don't sense my stay Not really hiding, not like a shadow Just thought I would join you for one day I'm sitting down here, but hey, you cant see me Kinda invisible, you don't sense my stay Not really hiding, not like a shadow Just thought I would join you for one day I'm sitting down here, but hey, you cant see me Kinda invisible, you don't sense my stay Not really hiding, not like a shadow Just thought I would join you for one day I'm sitting down here, but hey, you cant see me Kinda invisible, you don't sense my stay Not really hiding, not like a shadow Just thought I would join you for one day Source: Musixmatch

@@johnkeohane4239 yes ofcourse 80's to 90's to 2000
She is so criminally underrated 😢
From Cádiz, in Spain. 2 days ago i didn't know how is called that song that reminds me happy times. Now i'm in love forever with this song. Is the typical song you hear on the car radio going to the water park or the pool. Especially here in Spain with stations such as Kiss FM, Los40, Melodia FM, Europa FM, M80Radio...
Song of my teen years. Brought back so many pleasant memories.
I still don't really get the song though, I mean I understand all the lyrics, but I still don't get it
Happy for you. I understand how you feel. Even me i'm still searching for a song which i heard like 20 summers ago, still searching
why tf do people just blatantly invent fake stories on the internet, you achieved what exactly?
@@SophieAngom I hope you really find it ❤️
Thanks to Life Radio (Upper Austrian radio station) for playing songs like this, which are sadly often forgotten by most people! Love the song!

goodbye 👋 👋 👋 friends
Agreed, kinda makes me wish I could go back In Time. Didn't have a care in the world compared to now and most music sucks in this day and age! I'm in my 30s also.
Lene was cute and still is now. Always love her
Back when music was simple with lyrics with a meaning , no superficial people , no social networks like today distancing people , no hypocrisy , no radical feminism or the other way around. Back when men and women used to understand each other , back to the days when music meant music.
This is sooooo brilliant. One of the best songs ever made!
I finally found this song in 2024!! Brings me back omg. 😅
Always find myself coming back to these old gems once every few months, it's kind'a therapeutic
25 years....time flies...
She’s inexplicably cute. Like so cute it should be illegal.
Still is
Such a radio friendly I miss my teen days
Man I was still a school kid me and others would go to the park and skate no cell phones no internet just there in the moment god I miss it
Great song from back in the day. It really was a great time to be alive
What a singing voice! Soft as velvet, the voice of a goddess!
Brings me back to the days of high school :) . In my 30's today.
This certainly brings back memories.
Song of my childhood and I absolutely love it
Lyrics:: I'm sitting down here, but hey you can't see me
Your words cut rather deeply, they're just some other lies
I'm hiding from a distance, I've got to pay the price
Defending all against it, I really dont know why
You're obsessed with all my secrets, you always make me cry
You seem to wanna hurt me, no matter what I do
I'm telling just a couple, but somehow it gets to you
But I've learned how to get revenge, and I swear you'll experience that some day
I'm sitting down here, but hey, you cant see me
Kinda invisible, you don't sense my stay
Not really hiding, not like a shadow
Just thought I would join you for one day
I'm sitting down here, but hey, you can't see me
I'm trying not to avoid you, just dont wanna hear your voice
When you call me up so often, I really don't have a choice
You're talking lie you know me, and wanna be my friend
But thats really too late now, I won't try it once again
You may think that I'm loser, that I don't really care
You may think that it's all forgotten, but you should be aware
'Cause I've learned to get revenge, and I swear you'll experience that some day
I'm sitting down here, but hey, you can't see me
Kinda invisible, you don't sense my stay
Not really hiding, not like a shadow
Just thought I would join you for one day
I'm sitting down here, but hey, you can't see me
Kinda invisible, you don't sense my stay
Not really hiding, not like a shadow
Just thought I would join you for one day
You seem to wanna hurt me, no matter what I do
I'm telling just a couple, but somehow it gets to you
But I've learned how to get revenge and I swear you'll experience that some day
I'm sitting down here, but hey, you cant see me
Kinda invisible, you don't sense my stay
Not really hiding, not like a shadow
Just thought I would join you for one day
I'm sitting down here, but hey, you cant see me
Kinda invisible, you don't sense my stay
Not really hiding, not like a shadow
Just thought I would join you for one day
I'm sitting down here, but hey, you cant see me
Kinda invisible, you don't sense my stay
Not really hiding, not like a shadow
Just thought I would join you for one day
I'm sitting down here, but hey, you cant see me

I'm so agree with you, she's the absolutely best singer songwriter we have here in Norway in my opinion, and i'm really proud of being a Norwegian when i hear Lene Marlin's voice and her beautiful songs.
