If I put down pre-emergent now I will most likely have many bold spots next season. When should I seed these areas? Fascinating observation in terms of dog pee spots. I have bermuda in the front, and a large tree kept a portion of it very weak due to shade. I trimmed the tree ALOT and now it gets good sun. Well I let my German Shepherd pee in the weak spots so she doesn't ruin the pretty bermuda. I am noticing thick, dark green patches in this weak area. Any ideas on why that is? Nitrogen in her heavy protein diet? Acidity? idk

We were thinking filling it with dirt and move it up about 1 inch up then let the grass grow then once the grass grows move it another 1 inch up until we measure a 1 degree slope. My lawn ( tif Tuf Bermuda) has been great all summer in NC (zone 8). We had a lot of rain in July. I fertilized as recommended by SuperSod the first week of August. The things really went south. My lawn developed a fungus And, since the temps were now blistering, I think I got lawn burn at the same time. My lawn is limping back after fungicide and PFG complete. I’ve never had either of these problems before. Thinking about not fertilizing when the weather is mid to high 90s. Does this make sense? Could lots of rain and fertilizer cause fungus in Bermuda?

    • @HowTowithDoc
      @HowTowithDoc  Před 3 lety +2
