Nice to see this vlog, Faith and how you were fitting in Van Gogh’s letters and other reads. I like the idea of the 15 minute reading sprints for different books. I will try that. Liked the talk with the dog walk too. God bless 🙏

Hello... I love a peaceful, happy homelife and I'm finally getting days that feel that way in my new home. Those freezer containers look interesting and I'm sure the lunches will be better than anything sold at the school. Thanks for the salmon recipe. I'll try it since I've been blessed with a lot of canned salmon but don't have a good habit of using it. (It came from our community center.) It was hard for the people with syphilis prior to penicillin. I guess I still don't know what they used to try to cure it though that's why Vincent was hospitalized and it apparently cured him. Too bad his brother didn't get the cure.

@@Eldertalk do you think he was cured? I remember hearing that the external symptoms can subside but other bad things can go on and eventually lead to things like blindness or insanity. But honestly I am afraid to search it! Lol! I don’t know what kind of ads will suddenly start popping up. Yuck!

@@faithbooks7906 He could have been cured. There are other things that can possibly help. Yes, it leads to insanity and death. Maybe that's why Van Gogh had to put himself in a mental hospital?

@@faithbooks7906 Just read a page about "S - it's early history and treatment" and it said "The English surgeon William Wallace (1791-1837) introduced iodine therapy, potassium iodide with small doses of mercury." Remember Vincent mentioning potassium iodide?
