Had a prospective client ask for accounting help. Sent a $2,000 invoice and asked for $500 refundable deposit just to get started. After preparing budgeting, business plan, cashflow projection for what she would charge her clients ($1mil goal) and emailing all the spreadsheets and documents, said she did not trust me and did not feel okay paying the fee. Won't do that again.

If a Schedule C wants to be an S Corp. they need to change the company's charter and EIN with the IRS.
