I've been wanting to dive into a post apocalyptic/zombie (sorta) audio for a bit but found it difficult not to lean heavily towards the cliche, so I'm flinging this over the wall and letting you dogs scavenge the edible bits.

Breathtaking acting with a very natural sounding script. What a tragic image: two half emaciated frames laying next to each other under a blanket, one dead, the other only alive because they promised the other they would be. You can hear the devastation in her quiet voice and the contrast between that and the hardened soldier. I'd love an AU take where they found us and Listener beat the infection, becoming the key to a cure. They gave us enough food to make us healthy and strong again and kept us safe in their community.
The way I gasped when you said, "it's much harder to follow your lover, if you're immune", currently on the verge of tears, thank you for the great audio, you eared another subscriber

The immersion for this audio is unreal. My heartstrings weren't tugged, they were ripped right out of my chest. From the ambiance to the scriptwriting and VA-ing, you did a seriously amazing job with this audio.

I've listened to the full version on your Patreon over 10 times and this version twice. I can never get over your emotion and immersion into your scene. In my opinion this is your best work and I cry every time. EVERY TIME
Pigge’s audios are so special. She manages to combine the best script, acting and editing, and it shows in her every video.
Even though this one is a bit sad, we should value it nonetheless, it’s always interesting to creatively explore our other feelings. As much as we’d want, we can’t *always* be happy, and that’s ok.
But hey, since now I’m feeling a bit down I guess I’ll use this as an excuse to rewatch some of Pigge’s previous works and feel better, amirite?

I'm new to audios like this and almost never comment so this is a rare occasion. Lol
I've checked out a few of your videos and you have a great voice for voice acting. so I decided to stop back and listen to a few videos while I work. clicked on this one and like.. holy shit.. lol
this had to be one of the sweetest yet most heartbreaking stories I've ever heard, seen, read, or experienced. And I mean that in the best way possible.
It's legit my worst nightmare to have something happen to me were I die and have to leave the person I love the most alone in some kind of hell.. so this one hit a bit harder for me.
the way you voice your characters is so genuine. you can really hear the pain or joy you are trying to convey in your characters and its very impressive.
this was especially true in this video.
The tone shifting from you speaking more confidently at the beginning. portraying the character to be acting strong trying to get the listener to eat and not give up. Yet As time passes you slowly hear her coming to terms with reality while still trying to be strong for the listener till finally.. she is barely able to choke out the words she's trying to sing because the character knows these are her soul mates last moments.. god damn that shit was heartbreaking..
and the revelation at the end that she is immune. with no way to end her loneliness without putting herself down?.. like Holy fuck girl.
I'm a dude that doesn't cry about much, but you fuckin got me with this one I won't lie. Lol

And gave me insight into how my grandma must've felt this year

My ending:
"There's so much I wanna do with you" says Speaker tearfully, the cracks in the hopeful facade showing that it's about as paper thin as she herself is right now. Hunger, worry and the dim light have carved hollows in the cheeks Listener manages to wipe tears off of.
"I know." Says Listener quietly, whisps of breath rising with every word. Even talking takes a lot of effort now that the sickness has taken hold and thier throat is dry from thirst. But they need to say this. "I'll try and hold on baby. 'M so weak and cold. I can't... feel my hands anymore. Just exhausted from fighting this. It took so long to affect me... thought I was immune like you but I guess... but I promise to do my best to hold on for you. Pinky swear. 'S all I got right now. I'm sorry. Thankyou for taking care of me. I love you so..." they can't talk anymore. They release a shuddering breath and fall asleep as Speaker sings a soothing song.
[After rescue]
"Oh my god, you're awake! I thought I'd never see those eyes again" Speaker swims into view. She is sitting beside their bed. The dark circles under her eyes show she hasn't slept. At least she looks like she's eaten. She looks slightly less gaunt.
"I promised you didn't I? I...I held on for you. I made it." Listener's face splits into a slow grin of pleasure at being alive.
Speaker makes a choking sound, half laugh half sob "yeah. Good thing too because it was a pinky promise and you're not allowed to go back on those. Ever. Those are the rules."
"Even if I couldn't actually move my fingers at the time?" Listener says quietly. They are very tired but they still have a wry humor about them.
"Yep. Even then!" Decides Speaker before dropping a tender kiss on Listener's forehead. She'll call the doctor over soon when they'll no doubt want to poke and prod this medical marvel. But for now she wants to enjoy the first moment her love has come back from the edge of death.

Well I think it’s because the listener (aka us) wasn’t bitten but rather scratched that the process of dying was a lot slower. Signs over time that we were slowly turning and our gf in the video trying to prevent it. And ofc at the end when she’s singing to us that’s when we die😬 Then the guy at the end finding her curled up with our dead body presumably
