CLIP DESCRIPTION:
A confident Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) isn't phased when 'The Line' (Antonio Tarver), the reigning champ, tries to intimidate him.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Sylvester Stallone returns to the director's chair for Rocky Balboa, the fifth sequel to the film that made him a superstar 30 years before. The movie begins with Rocky (Stallone) still mourning the death of his loyal and beloved wife, Adrian, who died three years previously after losing a battle against cancer. Rocky owns an Italian restaurant and spends his days living in his working-class Philadelphia neighborhood, visiting with his customers, and telling stories about his past. His grown son has a job as a business professional, but the relationship between the two is strained. Rocky's growing dissatisfaction leads him to attempt to purge the feelings of frustration and loss by applying for a boxing license. When the current heavyweight champion, Mason "The Line" Dixon (Antonio Tarver), needs to rehabilitate his image as a pretty boy who has never shown any real heart in the ring, his manager offers Rocky an exhibition match. This comeback allows Rocky to get his own life back on track, while also offering him the opportunity to help those around him redeem themselves and once again be a symbol of hope for the common man.

"Don't hit me I'm brittle."
- Man whose career fighting strategy was blocking jabs with his face
ahahahahah well done m8
Blocking jabs with his face? Are you kidding? He would block the hardest haymakers from Clubber Lang and Drago with his face! Of course, results varied. 😂
Yeah, but you should see the other guys knuckles!!...
MUFC nah
MUFC Is your job to annoy people?
Fun fact
At the end when rocky says ‘don’t hit me , I’m brittle’
He said the same line at the end of rocky 5, to his son as they were walking up the rocky steps!
Also fear as a motivation was mention in Rocky V. "Who was your best friend back in Oklahoma?" remember?
It's a shame that Dixon couldn't have heard Duke telling Apollo about Rocky....
"He's all wrong for us, baby. *I saw you beat that man like I never saw no man get beat before, and the man kept coming after you* Now we don't need no man like that in our lives."
Peter David GOLD! :D
Thanks!
czcams.com/video/JcQeeWV1qYQ/video.html
Still Duke's best line perhaps in the series. RIP.😑
Gary L. Street or the part where Duke is watching Rocky punch the meat on TV and says champ you better look at this this guy means business
love that line!
- "Aren't you a little scared?"
- "I don't get scared."
Fighting with heart VS Fighting with numbers
Alot people come to Vegas to lose
I didn't
Damn that line is cold
Dominique Odom Rocky talking smack haha
@@nicky21111 Apollo finally rubbing off on him😀
Gary L. Street yeah 😂
Gary L. Street he should of said that to Drago I didn’t come to Moscow to lose
@@nicky21111 Would have been a great comeback. I think he was so focused, it didn't cross his mind.
Its a great scene, Robert trying, but failing to keep a straight face when Rocky says its from the 70's and then the father-son moment when Robert puts his hands up for a wee spar and Rocky saying Im brittle. Its actually quite a touching scene that as you get older you do miss those little moments of having fun with your dad.
For whatever reason, that hit cut me on my eye...just a dad...er tad.
I don’t know how they gone from reconciling to estrange in the Creed series
@@AlejandroSanchez-pl6jw yeah idk what happened
It was a callback to Rocky V when he said same thing at the end when they ran up steps.
Recreate them with your children.
Sylvester Stallone deserved an Oscar for this, this movie was as good as the first one, it was pure and genuine
Not as good as the first one but it definitely had the heart of first one and is definitely one of the better sequel's
@@boycie2.099 I think this was the best one in my opinion because it did a good job ending the story but also it felt like one of those “one last time” type of movies where the protagonist goes crazy and beat up people.
My personal ranking
1. Rocky II
2. Rocky I
3. Rocky Balboa
4. Rocky III
5. Rocky V
6. Rocky IV
I don't dislike any of them I just ranked 4 the lowest due to literally having no plot other than Rocky goes to Russia to beat Drago and get revenge for Apollo and a W for good ol' America it definitely has the better soundtrack of the franchise.
@@monkeywithanak319 good choice
@@shadowsmith1386 Thank you.
it ain't over till it's over, what's that from the 80s? that's probably the 70s 😂 best bit in the film lol
Will Hull lol I love that
Yh mason problably didn't even exist in the 70s.
@@xUzi786 Mason Dixon was 38 in this film so he did.
yes a a great scene and also the scene where rocky gets up after dixon thinks hes won and you hear the rocky fanfare
@MUFC Puerto Rico doesn't do much sport . Of course apart from Adriana diaz
Edit: idk how to type very well so if the name is wrong I'm sorry
Love it that no matter what others say he doesn't retaliate in anger he just calmly replies diffusing their insults
Good call mate 👍.
That’s where u firstly need strength
I have to agree with Rocky. When you are scared and right on the edge. That's when instincts kick in. When you dig deeper than ever in training. You almost can't simulate it. Some world class athletes find something that even they didn't know they had.
The fact that Dixon even got the gall to talk to Rocky like he’s doin him a favor is laughable🤣🤣🤣
The Rocky movies are iconic and this one is no exception! As always Rocky is pitted against dangerous and threatening opponents,Mason dixon definitely was among that list. Great moment between them in this video!
He was the least scary opponent out out of all the “rocky” movies by far.
Mason “Good Guy” “The Line” Dixon.
Most underrated boxer of any of the movies. Doesn’t have anything personal against Rocky, respects him and gives the good fight that he needs to prove himself.
It’s like a reverse of the original Rocky, except this time it’s the champ who needs to prove himself to the challenger.
Well said m8
A prime Creed would have dropped Dixon's smug tail in 3
Funny that that also describes Apollo in Rocky 2.
Nah
Carry you... ilol
its Rocky. he just keep going regardless.
He said ‘Hey don’t hit me I’m brittle’ at the end of Rocky V when Robert was a small kid, and he also said it in this clip to show they were back to being as close as they were
A trained bodybuilder will know that Stallone's upper pecs at 1:07 that are discreetly visible through his boxing robe, reveals how well built he is, even though the rest of his body is covered completely.
Nazeem Dollie ,who gives a shit?
Jason Grimes you?
He filmed all the fight scenes first at the peak of his training for the film.
Nazeem Dollie Umm ok?...
Hey maybe old but he still kills it in the gym and he looks great too. I have a lot of respect for that man.
My favorite Rocky movie..I cry every time I watch it...
You press me, hit me, try to hurt me!! I'll take you out!! Lol
“You know I think you try a little harder when you’re scared”.
One of the most true statements there is.
1:16 My dad laugh out loud when he heard this part.
What does he mean, if he’s 33 and it’s 2006 he legit grew up in the damn 80’s. He was born when rocky beat Apollo
he said don;t hit me im brittle in the movie before this one to sage :,(
Hojean I was sure I was the only one who remember that. He said that at the Philadelphia art museum right after he said "you look like the daughter I always wanted"
Rocky took a big chance to accept a challenge for an exhibition against Dixon in the city where Apollo had his last fight and lost not only the match but also his life fighting Drago while defending America's honor.
0:42 you get a comeback like that you better pray you walk as much as you talk 💀😂
Rocky is such a badass
"Hey,don't hit me,I'm brittle" 😂😂😂😂
Yo Adrian, we did it. We did it
I love watching his eyes when Stallone is being Rocky. He looks away a lot, it makes him look unassuming but you can see something is being processed in his mind, every word that's being said to him that he can't do something. And then with that same unassuming attitude, he believes he can.
Don't hit me, I'm brittle
🤣🥊
*Blocks a jab with his face*
When the heart and head is right, the rest follows. Hard work beats talent anyday
Hard work only beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.
@@AllFlashNoDash which is most of the time, since talent is usually entitled and lazy
This movie is the most underrated
I never felt hate for Dixon as I felt for Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago or Tommy Gunn. Dixon is very confident but he respects Rocky.
he only respected Rocky after Rocky gave him hell for 15 rounds. Before that he was a punk thug
@@Simon-talksIn what way was Mason ever a punk or a thug
@@jon5780 in every way, the whole time....disrespectful to a legend former champ. Just an all-around, crude, disrespectful, arrogant, Thuggy McThugpants.
"That's probably the 70's." Now it's over! Rocky won this one!
I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course he gets scared at 1.00. imagine what Apollo would say if he was still alive and in his prime in these films. He would think Dixon is just a joke. But he would be professional about it.
"Probably the '70s." I think that was my favorite line in the movie. 🥊🥊
You try hard when you’re scared
Fair approach from the Champ
Rocky never dies! Boxe is only a background landscape in all Rocky movies, actually this movies is about How to overcome ourself and ver there, and also is about familiar and friendship boundings
2006 for movies was one of those years...
Yes.. Rocky, Rembo, Tokyo drift... Etc...
Rocky respects Mason, calling him champ, even though like in the first film against Apollo, he believes he can shock everyone, he respects his opponent because he's the world heavyweight champion, like he respected Apollo
Rocky: *Goes to fight the current World Heavyweight Champion of boxing at the age of 60*
Also Rocky: (to his son) Hey, don't hit me, I'm brittle!
😂😂😂
I think he was saying it in a jokingly manner but yeah lmao
Where was his son when he was dying of cancer and adonis took care of rocky
Stallone probably didn't want anyone acting as his son since his real son Sage passed away. Their is a deleted scene in Creed where Rocky is looking at old pictures of Adrian and Robert and even though it shows him hurting over Adrian the real pain he was showing was for his son Sage.
AestheticsisLife He kept his cancer as a secret. Adonis learnt it by himself. I think Rocky Jr never heard about his father's health.
The last actor to play Rocky's son was not even Sage. It was Milo Ventimiglia in Rocky 6.
yeah no shit, because he died.
You guys need to get your stories straight. Sage played Rocky's son in Rocky 5 1990. Yes Sage died in 2012. In Rocky 6, 2006 Rocky's son was played by another actor even though Sage was still around at the time, not Sage in 6 though, so yes Rocky Jr could have been in the Creed story but for whatever reason was not according to Rocky.
0:42 subtle rocky 4 reference
Man, I loved this film.
Don’t hit me I’m brittle 😂😂
A degree from the school of hard knockz, issues you an education that will never leave you kicking rockz.....
Mason Dixon , here, is as nice as a cat that's dangling from the nuts with its nails well stuck in them 😁😁😁
A great human movie.
“I think you try a little harder when you’re scared, well it’s worked for me”
He is referring to Clubber Lang and how he was scared so tried harder and won
He's so lucky he isn't fighting Rocky from 3 film lmao
AIN'T NOTHING OVER 'TIL IT'S OVER!!!
Dont hit me im brittle 😆 lollll
Damn I love this movie!
Dixon:”Balboa!”
Subtitle:”My BoY”
Would’ve been nice to see Rocky’s son carry on his legacy! Too bad he didn’t become a fighter
He got his mom's gene obviously. Dude is like a buck 40
Mason the line dixon: it's already over
Rocky balboa: it ain't over till it's over
Mason the line dixon: what is that from the 80s
Rocky balboa: it's probably in the 70s
@Georgia Irene Vlahou it is the line referring to the mason dixon line back in the 1850’s
Funny thing is that Rocky declined his fight with Apollo and even said “he’ll never cheap shot him or anything.”
He kept true to that till his final fight.
Let's see what you got, hey don't hit me I'm brittle
Lol
I like how he asked his son to stay with him.... Cool dad
IT’S NEVER OVERRRRRR!!!!!
Sylvester real son did u no that's peeps? 💕💕💕💕👍👍👍👍
'This is what has worked for me' 😂
Yogi Berra G.O.A.T.
It's already over
10 mins later Dixon's moaning about him hitting realy hard and breaking his arm
Rocky the best
GO ROCK!
SO LOVE MUCH
¿A old man can be boxing yet?
The only flaw of Creed is that they never explained why Rocky and his son fell out again.
how in the hell almost all best lines are in rocky balboa?
the 70's. the times when crips and bloods used to fight with bare hands and not guns.
to think. this guy actually thought that Rocko would the type of crumb bum who would cheap shot or low blow someone. the nerve.
Baseball catcher, Yogi Berra, originally coined that phrase....although it's so simple, one has to wonder if it wasn't said a thousand times by others, prior....like any quote i suppose. It's all about the time and the place...and the audience. But if we're talkin general time period, I'd say the 60s at the latest, when he was active and being interviewed about his games and competition and all that. But he first hit the MLB in 1946.
This about to be Tyson to Paul 😂
Don't hit me I'm brittle, lmao improve classic
Rocky breaks his ribs
Yogi Berra said it in the 70's.
Isn’t that the dude from “this is us?”
Why didn't they get Robert to do the fight like train him the way rocky was trained he's younger faster and in better condition its just one fight
RESPECT your elders.
Mason was born in the 60's, what kind of question was that?
In the Rocky wiki he's stated as being born in 1971, which still doesn't mean he was young enough to not have heard it. Maybe he was trying to seem younger against an elder Rocky? Or he was more of an 80's kid growing up.
0.25 Dixon doesn't know what he's talking about. Or what rocky been through in his life.
TB12 today against Rams.
Lenny Kravitz is gonna sue! 🤣
It ain't over nancy you're mine
Gah i wish they’d have made Balboa drop this punk
1:02 Man is lying
Drago should have fought that guy lol.
Bruh who threatens an old man
I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!!
DATS WACIST!
Lol mason is weak compared to drago hahhaha
😄😄😄👍
ugly light in his eyes
Rocky frist few movies where good after the Russian they was 🗑, the tommy one was garbage and this one was a dump truck, I like the creed movies tho 👌🏼
SO SLEAZLIMS ARE NOT COMING. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
That black dude... so lame.
Did he ever heard about the gym?
The actor was literally a world champion boxer he'd literally murder anyone in your bloodline
