This song is Korean historical drama "Empress Myeongseong" OST. There are many cover "If I Leave". Most famous version is singing by Operasinger Sumi Jo. The drama is based on real history. Empress Myeongseong. It is one of the most sadness story in Korean history.
Empress Myeongseong was murdered by Japanese military officers and soldiers and her body was burned. Many Koreans feel sad because it is her song that is sung at the moment of her death in the drama.
