One thing that I learned about living in this country, everybody is so politically correct, eager to squeeze themselves to be the most righteous person and even have their own conspiracy theory to brainwash themself. Maybe that statement is too harsh or judgmental yet I experience it myself, I was not born in this country, never heard about confidence is *Very* important and if you've less, you have an issue with self-esteem and if you've more than you're the *Narcissist*, I don't even know about that term and it's not exists in my childhood. People will think you're naive and fake if you're kind and happy and .... It's the polarization of the society that judges others who do not like themselves, If you're being negative about it, they dislike you, if you join the cult without knowing yourself well, you're just being not authentic and become the people pleaser. Now, you know why it's hard to be so direct, just be someone who is not into telling others the truth which may demonize their feelings yet not into lying as well, somewhere in between. Having values in your life may be the best way to live your life.

@kristineanderson4983.. I agree with you. If you watch some of the interviews of the residents of Maui, they say that they never got a cent from that so called "people's fund of Maui". They are saying that the only money that they received was the $700 from the federal government. I wonder where all of that money went, if they even did donate it, which I do not believe to be true. I watched Oprah's show for years and years. Sometimes, I would try to talk to my older sister about a show that I watched, but she would tell me that "she did not like Oprah". I would say, "why not?" She said, "I don't trust her." My sister is very intuitive.

After I had watched the interview it left me feeling happier and more content than before. One thing that really resonated with me was the idea that we make the decision to be happy when we are ready to recognize it. I have been living by that idea for the past 32 years, knowing that no matter what life throws at me, I can choose to be happy.
