- For my 2023 February bullet journal theme I decided to draw peonies and go for a romantic style mixed with some scrapbook vibes! Setting up the spreads was so much fun and this might even be my new favorite theme 🥰 Hope you like it too and maybe found some new ideas for your own journal!

Loved this spread. Peonies are one of my favourite flowers! Please do not compare yourself to what others are doing in their lives. Society puts a lot of pressure on us as to when we should marry, buy our first car, house and when to have children. Life is so short and we all need to enjoy it where we are in that moment. I am a single mother, never married, dont own a house (I am 57). However, I travelled a lot and lived in many different countries for brief periods of time. So I have wonderful memories and amazing friends all around our beautiful world. I would love to see how you drew these flowers, I dont know how to do a pencil emoji! Your artwork is stunning you need never worry about that! ❤ PS my hair is also very dry. I would love to try the rosemary water will look into it too.

🌹 I love how it came out, you did great with drawing those flowers. That’s a beautiful cover page, for some reason I struggle with doing cover pages so I don’t do them much. I’m nervous about trying scrapbooking in my spreads but also excited to give it a try in my new journal (I chose the same one you’re using) pink is one of my favorite colors also 😀

I love this setup! You do the flowers so well! Also, just FYI, as an American I pronounce it PEE-oh-nees with the emphasis on the first syllable. Who knows if that’s right? But that’s how I’ve always heard it.

Some words are just difficult for me because the Finnish pronunciation is so different, and we were taught the British way of spelling the words in school, which is weird because on the other hand you hear a lot more American accent in movies etc 😂
