He has been in the Fulton County Jail since his arrest in May in relation to a sprawling RICO case alleging artists and individuals associated with Young Thug's Young Stoner Life label are part of a Young Slime Life street gang.
The ruling means Gunna, whose legal name is Sergio Kitchens, stands to remain in jail through the trial, which is scheduled for early next year but could be delayed into the Spring.

Why do these people act a damn fool when their "loved ones" and "homies" don't get bond or are found guilty? I saw one guy's family cutting up in court after he had been found guilty of murder. Mind you, during the trial he was taunting the victim's family with gang signs, and other gestures. When the verdict was handed down, he continued to show his azz and one of his family members had the nerve to yell out to the victim's family "I hate y'all!" Use that energy towards them to straighten them out while they're out wreaking havoc in society.

If our young men aren't killing each other they are being locked up and it's now a way of life for them I'm 57 and it makes me wonder where did we, adults my age, go wrong. Although my three adult sons are productive men I feel I should have been a presence in some young man's life who didn't have guidance in their lives. It's not too late. There are a lot of programs out there that are looking for mentors. I've been mentoring young women for 5 years. It's challenging at times but it's the most rewarding thing I've ever done.

I had a judge literally break the law and no attorney would touch it not even the one I had, they just said by the time I report and I pursue it that I would be out of jail by then. I requested an appeal so he got mad, reversed my bond that I was already on, changed it to secure and locked me up... the system is shyt

Circumstances changed but due to case law he still won’t give a bond, he said there wasn’t enough to make him change his thought on it. So he’ll just keep denying until trial right?
