Guardians of the People: Carlsen field family on the brink

Unable to work for the last few weeks due to heavy rainfall in Central Trinidad, a gardener and his family are pleading for assistance to get through a very difficult time in their lives.
This Carlsen Field family is barely surviving, and any prospect of a return to school for their children in September is quite unlikely-unless they get the help they need.

You know what gets me angry?? That as a tax paying citizen who I'm my mid 40's by the way working non stop and contributing to the system since 18 dont have a say in who deserves a part of my contribution. There are people who never contributed a cent to the system and milking it. You getting food card, disability grant, free medical care ,when the pandemic hit got a grant and people who need it getting run around ? How is this right

With lots of job lost .
I dies try and help 2 to 3 families
Just with groceries.
