Tretinoin is the bomb. When I first started it, Cerave saved my skin. Something else to note is that the vehicle of the tretinoin. I have mine in a gel vehicle and that is more harsh. If you have sensitive skin, go with a cream vehicle

My dermatologist inform me that azelaic acid is not an exfoliant. And then it's actually really good To use with track, I could continue with my over-the-counter Or take a prescription for it to use with tret. T It actually has nothing to do with exfoliation. It helps with redness and inflammation, which could be caused by the medication.

Actually you CAN get retinoid-a for about 8$ from an online website called reliablerx.com or something like that. I’ve been getting my 0.05% & .1% from them for YEARS and it is the real deal. The US has a weird pharmaceutical monopoly on retina tretinoin where they charge 200$ for like .5oz of product and that doesn’t jive well with me so believe me you can get it online. It is the Indian version but it’s the exact same thing. I recommend starting with the lowest strength and then after 6 months going to .1%. Just my 2 cents!

Hope that you are well and having a great year! I am serious about skincare and nutrition, but also taking care of my skin and body because when I was a teenager I struggled with severe cystic acne, but thank goodness for Accutane. I currently use Aklief for occasional break outs and for anti-aging, but want to incorporate a new oil or serum since I ran out of my previous one. I like to use an oil with my Cerave cream after I have basically shaved my face. Lol! Would like to use the oil or serum a few times a week. I'm looking into the needless serum, but we will see. Trying to be careful with my spending habits as I already put enough money into other products, etc. I wanted to say hello and share with you where I am at with my skincare journey. Take care!

I have major issues with hyperpigmentation, circles and fine lines. I’m 36…. Has anyone used around their eyes and been ok? The prescriber herself said it was ok. But I’m reluctant due to that area being so sensitive in general. Thoughts? Abbey would love your opinion.

Hi there ! This is a great vid (and the previous one too!). The dilemma that I am having is in relation to strengths of products. My skin behaves well and is able to tolerate more aggressive treatment. For a long time I was on 0.15% retinaldehyde from osmosis and I loved it, no irritation, no peeling, I could use it everyday. Now, due to melasma, I am on prescription tetrinoid 0.015% and I am so super careful, ... but I am not sure I have to be considering there are vast differences in the strengths. Is it possible the tretinoid I am on is less effective than osmosis I was previously on ? Thanks 😊
