I'm not sure Harlow will see this, but I wanted to say hi and that you are such an inspirational rider, and you help all of us gain confidence in our riding! You are so beautiful and confident, you are like one of the best riders I know, even tho I'm your age and at a little lower level, lol! We all love you not because of your riding , but of your personality. I would LOVE to meet you sometime! The fact she now is training her ponies is amazing. I have no words for what an amazing experience this is for her. Even after many falls she still gets back up. Harlow is littery the best rider I know not just because of technique but how open minded she is. I admire her but not because of her riding it is her personality that lights up the world. @@SuperWiggley obviously you don't know much but a driving rein is mostly hold like the way harlens holds them so he does hold the reins properly because some people like show jumpers hold them like that but its rare to see. and popcorn wasn't be jabbed in the mouth either harlen wasn't even being that harsh.

Yes!! Definitely. He should first learn how to trot properly and then he can focuse on jumping. Because he can’t really go up and down properly while trotting. But I mean they are their horses, so like we can’t tell them what to do. 😅😊

Just want to say cause nobody's noticed so far, Harlen's reins are upside down and need to be flipped over, this might just help with steering a little. Also well done improving your riding Harlen!
Like yeah I know that Harlen isn’t ready for all that he needs to know the basics but he’s having the time of his life and the last thing you’d want to do is put him off it saying he isn’t ready and making him learn and prefect the trot and canter before he jumps bc then he’d get bored and not want to ride. It’s not like he’s gonna go to a competition or anything he’s just having fun and it’s not ruining popcorn or anything bc popcorn is such a goo boy ❤

My grandad died a week ago and my granny just died today I saw this video shortly after and clicked on it you are so funny and made me feel a bit better. You are such a good rider and your ponies are gorgeous. ❤
OMG. Please, please, please get Harlen some actual lessons, preferably on a school pony. He's not even holding the reins correctly. What is the POINT of this? He certainly has no business at all jumping. Poor Popcorn. 😞And Harlow has developed a habit of resting her right hand on the crest as she jumps--which means she is not releasing evenly. That needs to be addressed. Her seat is strong enough that she shouldn't feel the need to do that.
Oh for goodness sake I am 52 years young and still ride and I have my BHS Horse masters degree and NPS and did them in my 20’s. And I do dressage and I teach weekly! HE IS HAVING FUN! he is not yanking his mouth or nothing. You be utterly shocked at what I used to do at a much younger age that Harlo and Harlen are !! And also my brother who is 42 also was riding from 2 years old and still dose he is a dose BSJA my sister who is 50 also rides ! Leave them alone he is safe he is happy and enjoying life !! Better that than on the streets doing drugs and been disrespecting !! I am so grateful for my parents for a amazing life myself and siblings had and no we were not rich as we had a farm and my mom also worked to keep us happiest and able to go to pony club and showing and jumping all year round and boy out ponies and keep them all !! I had 8 in the end !! As we could not come to sell them after we out grew them !
@@AnnieDewi Well, the fact that you did it that way doesn't make it right. I, too, had to learn to ride by the seat of my pants b/c I didn't have parents who were wealthy enough or interested enough to ensure that I received good instruction at the start. But you and I were not on CZcams for millions of people to watch. These kids are. So it is important that they model good horsemanship, and this is not that. Their mother can afford to do it right, and should, IMO.
I'd recommend putting some kind of breakaway piece between the cross ties and the metal rings on the posts so that the horses don't get hurt if they panic and/or pull back hard.

Harlen is making amazing progress but I would recommend getting him to hold his reins properly before starting jumping, even trotting and cantering. Will be much better for popcorn too and Harlen will have a better use and position of his arms and hands as a result. Fabulous effort nonetheless 👏 ❤

As an irish person we do all have very different accents and u did a donegal accent😂😭 and i can also say that if u dont wave r say hi to someone when walking past u r considered rude as its normal to have a chat w/ a stranger on the bus and ask about GAA and it will make us very happy❤
That was fun watching Harlen he’s a very funny boy and riding popcorn was hilarious he’s got no fear as he’s aging which is fantastic and he looks like he’s going to be a very good rider. But please Harlen use your hands correctly no bad habits cheeky chops lol. Great fun vlog tfs.🤗🏇🤗

Hi Harlow I love your channel so much i am the same age as you and love watching your videos. My grandad died a week ago and my granny just died today I saw this video shortly after and clicked on it you are so funny and made me feel a bit better. OMG. Please, please, please get Harlen some actual lessons, preferably on a school pony. He's not even holding the reins correctly. What is the POINT of this? He certainly has no business at all jumping. Poor Popcorn. 😞And Harlow has developed a habit of resting her right hand on the crest as she jumps--which means she is not releasing evenly. That needs to be addressed. Her seat is strong enough that she shouldn't feel the need to do that.
Oh for goodness sake I am 52 years young and still ride and I have my BHS Horse masters degree and NPS and did them in my 20’s. And I do dressage and I teach weekly!

You be utterly shocked at what I used to do at a much younger age that Harlo and Harlen are !! And also my brother who is 42 also was riding from 2 years old and still dose he is a dose BSJA my sister who is 50 also rides !

I am so grateful for my parents for a amazing life myself and siblings had and no we were not rich as we had a farm and my mom also worked to keep us happiest and able to go to pony club and showing and jumping all year round and boy out ponies and keep them all !! I had 8 in the end !! As we could not come to sell them after we out grew them !
@@AnnieDewi Well, the fact that you did it that way doesn't make it right. I, too, had to learn to ride by the seat of my pants b/c I didn't have parents who were wealthy enough or interested enough to ensure that I received good instruction at the start. But you and I were not on CZcams for millions of people to watch. These kids are. So it is important that they model good horsemanship, and this is not that. Their mother can afford to do it right, and should, IMO.
I'd recommend putting some kind of breakaway piece between the cross ties and the metal rings on the posts so that the horses don't get hurt if they panic and/or pull back hard.

Harlen is making amazing progress but I would recommend getting him to hold his reins properly before starting jumping, even trotting and cantering. Will be much better for popcorn too and Harlen will have a better use and position of his arms and hands as a result. Fabulous effort nonetheless 👏 ❤

As an irish person we do all have very different accents and u did a donegal accent😂😭 and i can also say that if u dont wave r say hi to someone when walking past u r considered rude as its normal to have a chat w/ a stranger on the bus and ask about GAA and it will make us very happy❤
