- The best way to Vacation in Cancun, Mexico is through an "All Inclusive" Resort. There are many to pick from and varies in prices according to season. But where is the BEST all inclusive resort in Cancun?
The Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa is one of the few 5 star resort in Cancun.
Our friend had their wedding here and we were lucky enough to be invited to their Amazing wedding! It was a good excuse for us to get away from responsibilities and relax.
This resort boast a whopping 9+ different restaurants and eateries. You can have access to all 9+ if you're in the "Hideaway" Club. But even with the normal access, there are plenty of restaurants to stuff your face with.
We managed to eat at all of the restaurant that we had access to. Though some restaurant I wouldn't recommend you waste your stomach to try.
The beach is not in good condition to swim as there were so much seaweed in the water. It wasn't always like this, but there are lots of pool to swim in the resort, so no sweat about it.
Plenty of activities and shows for you to enjoy. As well as bars around every corner! Just relax and enjoy :)

Thanks for uploading! We are staying here now. I must honestly say that I believe the quality of this hotel has gone down since last time we were here, which was 2019. Stuff in our room didn’t work, we didn’t have coffee facilities, no bathrobes. Waiters in the restaurants were kind of rude, being that they gave us the feeling that they wanted us to leave as soon as possible. They served our main courses while we were still having the starters. Room wasn’t cleaned every day. I understand that there is a staff shortage, but for me, there was a lot going on considering the high price we paid.
:( so sorry to hear about your experience. I noticed that there are lots of maintenance and upkeeps needed for the room as well. I did run into some employee that was not too happy. But I think it’s just that they’re over worked and can’t keep a happy attitude the whole day :( most of the time they’re very accommodating and cheerful. As long as we leave a tip 😂
I agree 100%. We went here 6 years ago and it was incredible. We stay in the Hideaway section. The staff treated us like royalty. We tried the one in Punta Cana 2 years later and it didn't measure up to Cancun. We went back 2 years ago and were not impressed. The service wasn't the same and maintenance of the resort was very much lacking. We stayed at Riu Palace Costa Mujeres this year and the resort and food were amazing. The beach was the best we've seen. The entertainment, however, was not very good at all.
Did you have a tub on the balcony? If so, did you pay for an upgrade. Also how far were you from main cancun shops, city life. Any help would be appreciated thanks
