I want y'all think about this scene. Someone had to write it, someone had to direct it, and a team of people had to draw and animate it frame by frame - all of them knowing they were showing a guy missing a sword being tossed to him.
Garzey's Wing was created by Yoshiyuki Tomino, the creator of Gundam.
Yeah, not even kidding. I can see it, though; Tomino lost his touch after a few years so I wouldn't doubt it at all.

That is a $20 expression right there. It's almost as if the character realized how unbelievably devoid of logic and thought that statement was; only able to respond by slowly turning his head and stare blankly at him. All of this in some vain attempt to find a shred of sense in the nonsensical verbal vomit.
