This track now sounds even more like it was *meant* for this confrontation. Excellent! And strangely as I feel positively electric listening to it, I am somehow also reminded of Terminator 1&2.
Zero's theme behind the main melody REALLY is the cherry on top... first time I heard it and saw Zero appear, I should've guessed it would become a staple of the entire Mega Man series.
I can easily imagine X being like "Zero? Wait, you're not Zero?! Who are you?" and the fight playing out similar to the Omega Zero fight from MMZ3 with this track. Good song btw.

A little bit subtle but I like how X's dash implies that here he is the superior model. Shows that in the state he's in now Zero is as far from X's strength as X was from Zero at the start of X1
