Adalyn Quinonez, go back to where you can add effects and text and click the sound button. Then tap where it says volume and turn the original soundtrack all the way down. Save it to drafts and you should be able yo screen record the voice over
I'm on Android so I don't have a screen recorder already on my phone however I found that on Android you can download your own screen recorder (I use mobizen) and make sure that it's clean recording mode and just trim the part when you stop the video
Thanks! It makes more sense of the difference between the good vo’s and the bad ones I’ve seen. I like all video crisp. It also simplified what I thought it would take to add audio after lip syncing.
perfect tip, thank you very much, does it have to be all recorded on the tiktok app first, or can it be done with your camera roll then go thru all the tiktok voice over route?
also, if you dont have an iphone or want to do all of these steps, you can record smaller clips on your camera roll. then you go into the clips settings and mute it all. THEN go into tiktok and use the video greenscreen effect and just dont show your face and select the vids :)

How do you do a beginning voice for the “hey yo...check” and then play background music. I want to have my voice in the beginning but then cut all original sound and play the music.
I would do that by editing on a third party software like adobe premiere pro and manually adding in the music when you'd like it to come in! Bc otherwise I can't think of how you'd delay the song in tiktok
This was super helpful, but I have a question. When recording the TikTok on the screen record, it says preview on top so that is showing up when the video is completed. Not sure if I missed a step or not. Did I do something wrong?
When I searched it came up with a man saying download iMovie so I was like really man any easier way so I swiped down and your video came up this was so much better told well and easy

obiwan KOBE you over lap the audio in iMovie by detaching the audio itself from the video and placing it where you want
