- Hello my friends! In today’s video I’m sharing how I transformed our front porch into an area that we could sit back, relax and enjoy. With just a few simple changes I was able to create a dramatic change to the entire front of the house (and on a budget!). I also show you how to make a stand for a patio umbrella that also doubles as an accent table to rest your drink, phone, etc. I hope that you get some ideas on how to makeover your own front porch to enjoy this season.

It looks so great! Really hoping your landlord/friends reimbursed you for the money you spent at least being they decided to sell shortly after. If they had to agree to let you do this work, ie when you asked to paint the door, that would have been a good time to break the news that they were at least considering selling.

Bare in mond ...a landlord will more often than not be on board for whatever we choose to do. It doesnt matter to them...they don't live there.

That looks great! I'm so happy you were able to do touch-up paint to the peeling areas on the walls. If you had not done that, the rest of the hard work you put in would have been diminished. I especially love what you did with the "half" umbrella (I had no idea there were such things!) inside the bucket inside the pretty planter with the cover you put on it to use as a little table. Perfect!
