Ideas :
- Put some triangles in your structure, it will be stronger.
- Blunt the nail first, they'll less likely split the wood.
- Laminate the mirrors, so you don't risk sinking too much broken glass.

I love how it’s meant to be invisible, yet everyone is asking what it is cause they can see it
Fun stuff guys! For a bit of a power up on the invisible part you should do a mark 2 and put the kayaks inside the box, let the outside mirrors dip into the water, and crucially, make the walls of the mirror box tilt outward by a few degrees. From any angle, it should reflect the water and never reflect things on shore or the sky. That would be a sight to see! (Or not see!)
That was actually pretty smart to have Blake's "hair cut" done during the keeps sponsor so no one skips through it. Therefore people listen and are likely to check out said sponser.

If you do this again, I would suggest angling the mirrors slightly out and down to only reflect the water from any above water angle. This would make it closer to truly invisible. Also, you could use a hydrophobic film on the mirrors to make it so water doesn't stick to them, and keeps them clean of drops that could give you away.

Here’s an idea, two way mirror so you can see out, and then cut a hole on the bottom and stick a trolling motor in there. The pontoons keep it floating so no water gets In

You should maybe try using light-bending glass (it makes anything behind it invisible from the outside) but it might be expensive or not sold

You could have used two way mirrors, in that way you would be able to see everything outside while still being invisible. But of course, two way mirrors are expensive
If you tilt the mirrors slightly downwards it gives a better effect. That's the technique that they used in Star Wars for Luke's Landspeeder

JStu should do an overnight challenge in the boat. Decorate and bring the snacks (MUST HAVE SNACKS). There are also such things as "Mirror-windows". Wherever the light reflects most, you can only see a reflection but where it is darker you can see through like a window. It has a little bit of tint because of the film placed on the window but maybe that may help see through.

I think if you use a two way mirror it would allow you to see out. You could use glass and a mirror tint and should work well. Maybe use acrylic to cut hole in it for the oars. Hope this suggestion helps for future videos
You could have made a pedal with prop to power the boat and place a cctv for navigation. That could be more fun. Also secure duct tape at the back ok the mirror for extra safety. Kudos guys

There was a better way to do this. You could have two pedal drive kayaks tie them together and put the box on top of the kayaks and in the front of the box you could have a one way mirror or an opening to see out. Then you and Andrew could steer in the same direction or just have a main rudder

Idea: You should use smaller mirrors for the curves like the square ones and put it in the curves diagonally or an long mirror in the curves and put it diagonally

Maybe you angle the mirrors 45 degrees so that from a distance the side of the boat would look like water. The only problem is when you are looking at the boat from a shallow angle
