- This weeks film is inspired by flowers and blooms, which are making me so happy right now. I’m going to create an uplifting pink makeup look using a lovely Pixi by Petra Rosy eyeshadow palette.

Gorgeous look. So natural and fresh.
Always pick flowers early morning or after the sun has gone down.! If you make sure you cut the stem very cleanly and on the slant this gives the stem of the flower more surface area to take up the water!

I have scented cut flowers and shrubs all year round no garage 💐 flowers....love naturalistic arrangements .

Just wanted to say thank you I ordered the concealer and I went back and forth on the shade - ended up with 301 and it’s perfect usually use Nars Macadamia for concealer - this is great more coverage and no Cali was it has almost a soft sheen under the eye which I love as my under eye is dehydrated and at 44 lots of lines. Thank you for sharing 😘
Love this look, I would have been hesitant to use these eye colour but watch how you blend them in I love it! Another great video, I love that I learn something new every week :-)

Please can you do an Autumn to winter makeup look for everyday wear. I have fair porous skin and hate the cake look that only highlights wrinkles.

I do like the look. A Beautiful summery, light look. I do not like myself in heavy eye makeup . I find that all of yours I can do. But if I use eyeliner & mascara well my eyes pop. Thanks for the uplift.

This is one of my favourite looks on you! And I LOVE your hair. I think it's really fresh looking. I wore mine in a side plait recently having seen you wear yours like that! Since our restrictions have been lifted, and I'm seeing more people out and about, I've noticed the first thing a lot of them do, is point out the bits of themselves they're not happy with since lockdown. Their roots mainly and I honestly, hand on heart, don't pay attention to any of that. Until they draw my attention to it! Their hand touches their hair and they start practically apologising for how they look! We are all gorgeous - roots or not.

That's a pretty look. I'm going to try recreating it this summer. Lipstick Queen makes a nude lipstick line that turns rosy pink on me. They would be perfect for this look.
Caroline - really lovely. Can you update us on the performance of the mascara? I use DHC (on your recommendation, I think) because it doesn’t flake. Is this one as good? Have a great weekend
I’m so sorry to say this smudged terribly on me the first time I used it. I tried their sample. Maybe it was my sunscreen under it with Summer heat. I’ll try again... once but man, I can’t stand smudging and black under my eyes when I haven’t been crying.
Thank you Suzanne - that saves me some money! I have gone through so many different brands that have not worked out for me. I’ll stick to my tubing mascara which works a dream 🙂

Hello Caroline, thank you for another lovely, uplifting video! Can I ask a question about using a blush on a sun-damaged skin with broken capillaries? Is the only way to make it work to use blush over a full coverage foundation? Whenever I use blush it seems to accentuate the imperfections.... or is it a question of shade? Any tips greatly appreciated! 😊

Hi Caroline could I ask your advice on mascara? As I've got older and my eyes have become more hooded, I'm struggling to find one that genuinely lengthens and separates - i used to love Volume de Chanel and CT mascara but thick and chunky lashes a) don't stand out against my lids and b) seem to make my eyes look 'heavy'. I liked the effect of L'Oreal Telescopic with the skinny brush, but it's discontinued... :(
I use a powder foundation sometimes, especially if I'm in a rush. What kind of concealer would I use & how. I've taught that you can powder a cream but not cream a powder. Pretty look today, but then you always look pretty. Thank you for your tutorials.

Great video Caroline, you make it all look so simple. Completely off topic but every time I watch your videos I’m transfixed by the pale blue ring on your right hand, My eyes follow it around the screen trying to get a good look at it I’ve been looking for a ring with that colour stone for quite a while but never seem to find one. Is it a blue topaz, or aqua marine, hope you don’t mind me asking. X
