Heard it again about 3 years ago and immediately was like OMG THATS THE TUNE WITH THE SINGING KIDS IVE LOOKED FOR ALL THESE YEARS. Funny how that happens. Music is so powerful.
The trick is to eq the bass down a little bit and it sounds way better but yeah the master on vinyl is wild. I think he was going for that but I had way better times mixing it when I started pulling the bass down in live mixes.
