Crazy Bob Head indeed! All these years of frustration are slowly melting away as you teach his parts. My fingers still don't automatically go where Bob's do, but your lessons have opened up so much for me. Thank you! Also, I love how much joy you get from the jams, especially the 87 version. It's so good to know that there are others who really dig the little moments of brilliance. Thanks for helping me enjoy all of these songs by letting me play along. Be well.
Thanks!
Man thanks for this video. So glad I stumbled on your page! Gonna pull me down the rabbit hole.
this was amazing, dude
I've been a Deadhead since 1977 and the Dead inspired me to leave all worldly pursuits to enter the spiritual Path and become a Swami in the Himalayas, last 31 years. I still listen to the Dead nearly everyday. Am so glad to see young people, especially musicians continuing to appreciate the beauty and skill of the Grateful Dead.
I feel you man, I’m 22, discovered the dead 2 years ago and it made me seriously dive into music, spirituality and changing myself for the better. Just spent the last 6 months traveling, 3 months of so in Southeast Asia. Learned so much out there, just got back home a couple of days ago but I will return. Been listening to the GD darn near everyday still. All love brother.
Jesus, the savior, is my path all the way. Sprinkle some Dead in there and I’m a happy camper. ✌️🎸🙏
This is a great video for learning about Bob and also showcases your passion for Bob
"Slaying dragons back there" - love that!
Isn't he though!!!?😂😂
Just discovered your channel. Love the focus on Bob’s rhythm style. Adds a whole new dimension given I’m a lead/Jerry focused player.
This is a great “deeper dive” to show the true differences and evolution of the song over the years and how it’s almost coming back full circle back to ‘72 version. Grate stuff! 🔥🎸
As always thanks!!
Thank you for the work
Thanks good stuff.
Awesome!! Keep them coming!!
This is really great Mickey! Thanks!
Glad to see you’re still at it, love the work :)
I clicked on this video because of that beautiful guitar, what kind of guitar is that?! It's absolutely beautiful and sounds amazing!
