    I’m really struggling with this. I’ve emailed asking for advice but had no reply. I’ve now done my first rib which measures 19” which gives me 48 ribs. How do you get 68 single crochets evenly from that? The video is not very clear what stitches you are going into to get this evenly spaced. Some help would be nice.

    • @HeyCarrieCrochet
      @HeyCarrieCrochet  Před 3 lety +1

      So sorry for the late reply. So you got 48 rows of single crochet for the ribbing to make up 19”? Ok. So next you will be working into the long edge of that ribbed hem. There will be no definite stitches to work in. You really just have to eyeball it and cram 68 stitches along. I hope this helps

    Hi carrie! Thank u for the tutorial and i find all your tutorials are easy to follow and not complicated. I have questions about this sweater tho. Is it possible if i make a v-neck with this pattern (minus the turtle neck)? Also, is it ok if i just go ahead and crochet the body part square size instead of making the decrease part at the top for the arm hole sleeve? If u understand what i mean. Awaiting for your reply. Thanks carrie!

    • @HeyCarrieCrochet
      @HeyCarrieCrochet  Před 4 lety +2

      Yes you can make it completely square if you like. As for turning it into a v neck I’m sure that would be easy enough. Just find your centre stitch of front panel and start decreasing according to the width of v that you want. Repeat on the other side of that middle stitch and you should be good to go. I have a v neck pattern on my blog that you could base it off xx

    Hello! I love your videos and this is the first one I'm attempting to follow along. Everything has gone super smooth so far except for the part on the sleeves where you say to repeat the 2 rows of increasing and normal rows until you have reached "54 stitches". Can you please clarify on what that means? The written pattern just said the same thing... I have no idea if that means literally count every stitch I make? but that would only be a couple rows... Or if you mean 54 stitches vertically, so 54 rows up? But that's way too many. Please help!! I'm sorry if this is a stupid question this is my first wearable project and I just started learning to crochet 2 weeks ago!

Also, 30 stitches fit perfectly when I stopped the ribbing at 8.5” but there’s an awkward space at the end when I try to do 9.5”. Is it okay to make the sleeve cuff smaller?
