I’m really sick and tired of paying federal taxes to a government that does nothing except commit coups and line their pockets.
For the most part it’s for show. People love to see Congress dunking on high ranking officials like the hypothetical final boss they’re supposed to be.
While we focus so much on the presidency, Congress is supposed to be the the most powerful because they’re the representative of the citizens in a collective fashion. It’s as though WE were grilling someone under oath.
