Did you get to sing this song at your brother's wedding, I just read this from two yrs. Ago I pray it was lovely, looks like you sing some blues like I did, back in my days .professionally starting early 60s.

La canzone "At Last" fu scritta da Mack Gordon e Harry Warren per il film musical "Serenata a Vallechiara" (1941) ed eseguita da Glenn Miller con grande successo
Però bisogna aspettare il 1960 per una versione definitiva che le diede la cantante rhythm and blues ETTA JAMES, la quale non solo la riarrangió (con tutto il rispetto di Miller) ma improvvisó (dico improvvisó) le parole sulla melodia di Warren.
La versione di James è inserita nella Grammy Hall of Fame nel 1999.
"At Last" è stata registrata anche da interpreti come Céline Dion e Beyoncé ma con tutto il rispetto.... "la cantante di colore con i capelli biondi" è un'altra cosa
