Would love to use more Crypto and support legends with just how good the respawn mechanic is. With a few tweaks to be less abusable I think it's going to be a game changer for agents like Crypto if the respawn mechanic becomes a mainstay in the game. Also it's actually a miracle that 90% of my randoms in my solo pub games dont quit the moment they get knocked and for sure the new respawn mechanic is a huge factor for that.
One thing a lot of people are overlooking with rampart is how fast sheila shreds evac towers. One of the funniest things is having a team think they’re making their great escape only to have the balloon destroyed before they take off and my team comes and mops em up.
Right? My friend uses rampart to destroy them all the time while I snipe them off with vantage. Any team that uses each towers around us are just free kills
LMGs work great with her amped cover, also the buff to snipers helps a lot as well. I played a few games with her running L Star + Sentinel and oh man it felt dirty.
One thing about horizon is that her abilities synergize brilliantly with each other. I don't think there's another legend where the one ability is heightened by the other ability the way horizon's is, with the exception of Wraith with her port-phase
bloodhounds scanner and blood lust work perfectly together. the combination of the ability to reveal enemy location, track their movement and being fast af is overpowered.
newcastle is such an anomaly to me. Constantly being praised as underrated and incredibly powerful yet consistently one of the least picked. I personally think he's ridiculously fun too. only real flaws are his thickness can make it harder to win your 1s and he somewhat relies on wattson so as to not get bulllied by nades and artillery.

Bangalore has always been my main, just because of the flexibility of her kit. And seeing her rise in ranks with little to no changes is honestly great. Also seeing her get more use by pro teams makes me feel like she’s just been slept on all this time.
Nerfing anything about horizon’s passive is a slippery slope cause it’s the core of her entire design and also probably one of if not the most fun passive to use in the whole game
I think a much simpler and effective fix would be to nerf the ability to strafe while in her tactical. She retains her slippery movement, while fixing the main problem (free resets). @@TimProVision
I’m a ballistic main enjoy his kit and just genuinely like his character however I personally think his passive could be something entirely different in fact they could even leave his 3rd weapon with no ammo so it realistically is only used in his ult I’m at 4k kills with him now and can honestly say I’ve never switched to my sling weapon without popping my ult while fighting just my opinion feels like the sling weapon as a passive ability is a waste
Ash tactical is pretty good where it's at, sure it isn't huge utility but pretty good. Imo a change should come from her ult. Have her ult function similar to new castle ult but instead of leaping to allies via the slice you pull allies to you to reset a fight and prevent thirsting no longer need Los instead it can cut through solid structures and a charged slice cause a phaseslam to enemies in direct path knocking back and small launch into the air caasing a slow fall speed. This could be used to knock horizons out of there tacticals or make cover not as useful to opponents. A good player could probably still turn it in their favor as there isn't a aim stun so a turn and burn could still counter.
Good list, I love wattson I think she is very good I think her only downfall is when you get grouped with people that don’t want to play a defensive game.
as a new player, i really appreciate how all(?) of the default legends are B tier or higher. it's nice to feel like i'm not being forced to grind (or spend) just to get someone who feels decent to play.
I am always very surprised to see Mirage that low all the time? He is my Main and in many situations i can easily do a 1 vs. 2. Also when playing with my Buddy i can do Distraction, aggressive play, Using the decoys to see the enemies and so on. If you know how to use his Ultimate, it can be a Game Changer. You can also use it to get away from tricky situations. Also having im in the Support Category is a plus as well. Healing buddies with a Golden Knockdown Shield plus the invisible cloak is super underrated. I mean, sure, give him even more buffs, but in my opinion he is the most underrated Legend.
He's not good in high elo. Sound cues and visual cues are easy to detect by actual good players. He offers no real team utility except a situational revive.
I honestly would make no changes to this list. I think it’s crazy how much a new update makes me rethink other legends even when nothing changes to them. I thought crypto needed a rework but his potential had drastically changed just with the introduction of Conduit and the Respawning. It makes him a whole lot better I feel. I am sad for the catalyst nerf in range with the Tac but I’m not complaining.
I agree with you. Plus I don’t think enough people give crypto his due for end game/final ring situations. You pair him with a defensive legend who can hold down a building/space in the ring and let him find all the enemy teams with his drone is so useful. Especially with his ult for the final push to win the game
I've been playing Wattson since launch but took a break last season; I'm surprised Wattson placed so high lol. looking forward to playing again this season.
I honestly feel like Wattson is still the best Control legend. Even before Cats nerf, Wattsons fences have the highest skill ceiling out of any ability in the game and the only reason people enjoy Cat so much is the hybrid play and ease of use, and fair enough if you really enjoy her wall and simple defense abilities but as a wattson main, Ive outplayed so many good Cat players who use their wall and cant cross it because I fenced it off in miliseconds and its always the funniest thing when you bait a cat to go through her wall into a fence.
Having mained both I’d say prior to cats recent nerf I’d 100% say cat was better as her wall is about more than restriction of movement, given that you can block LOS for a solid amount of time. Furthermore playing wattson, your gen can’t stop someone from nading the outside of a door to remove it permanently revealing LOS, while with cat on a team you can prioritise broken doors to barricade as to maintain a minimal amount of LOS on you in buildings. Wattson when played right can be absolutely incredible, especially given the uptick in relevance fuse is having, however I will not be switching from cat back to her, as unless they nerf cat even more I think she’s going to be very strong for the foreseeable future.

I've come to terms that my silly teammates are going to accidentally break alot of doors that I've fenced so I just try to block entry instead of gun fire and play cover inside and I will back pedal a little bit and say that Cat is a good legend and I understand why so many play her, but the blanket statement I made of wattson being better isn't entirely accurate; Cat and Wattson are good in different ways, they are apples and oranges. Both have very strong ults that do different things. I just feel like people can easily see the value in a giant black wall than a trophy system that allows constant fence placements and think that one is objectively better than the other when in reality one is just more suitable for their playstyle. When I have to rotate out in the open sometimes I wish I was Cat, and then when I get third partied by a bunch of nade spammers I'm glad I picked Wattson.

@GiggityxGamer It also bothers me that they put Mirage as a bad legend or even the worst but I am a main and I use the majority of legends in my opinion Mirage is the best they believe that only noobs do not know who the real Mirage is but I was in diamond and always When I use my ulti they don't know where I am and I kill them from behind because they didn't see me and it always works.
As a lifeline and valk player coming back for season 19 I see this list as a W. I’m upset to see them lower than they used to be but I’m happy to see them in a decent spot
i play ballistic and find his tactical really good to take out someone quick and then to use my sling gun for shotguns to swap to or the havoc and i use his ult for hard pushes

I think I have the perfect idea for mirage and it wouldn't be difficult for respaw to add this, my idea that would make mirage meta is: the clones placed by mirage also contain the image of the shot and where we shoot, they shoot, in this case If we have a situation where we put our ultimate, the person being attacked cannot define that they are attacking us because they check the image of all the clones that are attacking us. its perfect and simple
Honestly I feel like mirage is better than ballistic at least for solo q. Ballistics ultimate benefits the most from a competent team which is impossible with apex randoms. Mirage, I have a lot more confidence getting an entry frag and he has more escapability/survivability
As a seer main I really believe that he should of never been nerfed this hard. He is kind of useless now. The fact people are complaining a lot about him really sucks, like y’all can easily avoid him if you just move. It’s not that hard. If I had the choice to bring back 2 of seers kit it would definitely be A - his Cancel heals/revives and his 10 damage. Or B - his Cancel heals/revives and long range scan. I’d feel like it would be fair. Especially going against legends who now counter him. But this is just my opinion y’all don’t have to agree. But I really do hope seer gets his kit back or just a huge buff. Thank you for your time.
I’m surprisingly best with ramparts ultimate, I get so many kills. Do you have any advice for Gibbys ult. Why do you think rampart is better then Ginny this season
they have different applications, gibbies are very team oriented, staying close to the team and being ready to place his bubble at a moments notice when it’s needed, his ultimate is great for forcing movement and causing chaos. While rampart is very independent, I’ve had both as previous mains. Rampart I feel like focuses way more on her positioning, and setting up for her team go either maintain an advantageous position within a fight, but she is also enabled to do what gibby does and reset, with her faster deployment, ability to block doors and create hard to traverse obstacles, and her ability to cause choke points on high ground and in building I think is what really puts her past gibby, and not even mentioning her minigun, ever have a last team fight and trap a team in a building.. blocking the doors and just waiting with your minigun for them to break down their door and get a minigun to the face. Maybe I’m a bit biased with my analysis, as I had a bitter sweet end with playing gibby and have had more time with rampart. But I’d rather have a gibby on my team than a rampart, too many ramparts don’t understand wall placement and just make bad situations.
I think if the sling can have attachments, Ballistic can shine. I always keep sniper rifles with me and if he can have two smgs to back him up, he's gonna be insane.
Hi. Give Valkyrie some horizontal flight time without losing altitude when using her ultimate or allow her to descend and then ascendBird)for a little time during ultimate. I personally think that the devs who do the characters, should go back to the original recipe they used with the original characters, because pushing out characters has shown that they share many things with the previous characters. Characters take time to develop, take your time with them.
I feel Gibby Deserves a better rating this Season honestly. With Snipers being Buffed, the maps being bigger, and his extra health makes him a great long distance Tank. With his Ult Charging up Faster than were all use to, and bubble as Defense, its Good to use if your getting flanked.
im a horizon main but i just started using ash. I must say she deserves to be higher than C tier. At least B. Shes super fun to use and honestly really viable.
Still hope mirage gets some buffs though it won’t change him much unless they rework him and if that’s the case I’d be interested in what ideas you’d have for a good change to his abilities.

I like lifeline bc she gives shield bats and attachments for teammates and even sometimes a mobile if u get lucky and u need one a good lifeline knows how to heal and protect while they are getting revived
The problem with Vantage is her playstyle force her to play as support but she doesn't bring much to the team on that role. She's only good as solo legend.

I think Mirage should be one tier higher. I understand why he is down there but I have to say for me he is just working. He is a jack of all trades but master of none. He is a bit recon as you can get info out of his clones. He is a bit support because you get invisible while reviving and respawning. A bit assault because he can push in as secondary fragger with his clones and with his ult he even has an escape option so hes also a bit skirmisher. Of course he does all these things just OK and not great. But if you play soloQ a lot you can easily adapt to your mates. And most importantly in my opinion you can craft banners. When I dont know if one of my mates plays a support legend then i always pick Mirage just so we can craft banners.
As a new castle main I’m in shock that you think his kit has mobility. The placement is riddled with bugs so you’ll move… after the game registered where you want your wall. Not to mention how much the wall bugs out under the ground as well was my shield too.
Ill say imo, the learning curve is steep, but if you practice and steer clear from buying cosmetics, it is a good game. Really listen to the cosmetic part tho. Got us paying $170 for a skin sometimes.
Catalyst is my main and she is very good, she got again nerft but the nerf is somehow a buff and the buff is a nerf. So it activates when enemys look at the spikes and when not they just getting slowed to when you are going up a zipline normally you the hear the spikes when you near but know you just have to look at it.
That makes sense. But man, if only more people really learned his kit and how much he can control a fight! That's fun in my book! But honestly, I'm ok with the low pick rate as a Newcastle main. Low pick rate means less likely of receiving a nerf! haha
I feel lifeline should be c tier. She basically has zero utility for team fights unless your teammates are low health or knocked bc her kit mostly capitalizes on disadvantages. While she’s great at team resets, Newcastle, Gibby, and sometimes Mirage are as well on top of enhancing their own gameplay.

Man when Valk got nerfed it killed the game for me I loved Valk and still do but it isn’t the same also it was partly me switching to pc from ps4 that killed it kinda im making a comeback this season tho
Caustic being a non pub farming is wild, I think not mentioning him being able to lock down doors and trap enemies into building as well as reviving in gas is at least A. being a caustic main I may be biased but if you’ve played everyone then he’s definitely or Viable
I play on Xbox. So its highly optimized for visuals over frame rate. I do add a little color here and there. This video only has some boosted colors in the beginning.
Imo ballistic would be better if they took speed reload out of his ult and just give it to the assault class and just give him and his allies ammo regen based on the weapon/mag size giving weapons a gold bolt affect without the sliding needed. Ultimately ballistic ult kinda sucks because you still have to reload so you either have to be as affective with your bullets as you can be or potentially lose a gun fight because of that reload. If ballistic ammo regen can extend a guns ammo count by 6+ without reloading would win a lot more gun fights. And obviously speedy reloads being a passive wouldn't really change him if you do run out of ammo while laying down constant fire.
Placing Mirage at the bottom again I see. So crazy. I'm bamboozling predators every day with mirage. He's very reliant on having good gun skill compared to most legends. The bamboozle gives you about .5 second and a couple less bullets in their mag on average, which for me is a huge advantage. His ultimate wins 3v3s all the time for my squad. Also the invis res is so helpful, and something to note this season is with the crappy changes to respawning, being able to respawn while invisible means you have a much better shot of getting your reinforcements than almost every legend but Crypto and some movement legends
I literally can't remember the last time I actually died to a Mirage using his abilities. Not even kidding. But I am glad you have success on one of my favs.
Just because someone quick taps a potential hologram doesnt mean it does any real value if you're aware they are coming after you and where they are. .5 secs is easy enough for a pred to flick on you. Second, you rely on gun skill is based on the fact Mirage gives a disadvantage in about everything
@@Emilio-lz5ux .5 seconds is enough for me to flick on them and break shields. Sounds like you don't play fast enough if you cant capitalize on that advantage.
It wouldn’t necessarily boost his gameplay, but Mirage should be in the Assault category. His kit doesn’t really improve his team like a Support and he doesn’t have the movement of a Skirmisher.
Mirage is basically a skirmisher support. The movement comes from having his ult every 60 seconds which allows him to get away with a lot of things whether that be getting out of a fight or into it. The "why" for Mirage as a support is he is selfish and keeps himself alive so that he can get you back. Unlike the other supports who will die prioritizing a rez or not having and escape. Mirage can dip out and stay around long enough to refresh his team. Overall the support passive is fine for him and much better than the previously skirmisher class. He doesn't really have assault utility either so he doesn't belong there.

While I'd love a mirage buff, the devs seem to hate me and mirage mains, and I resent the idea that he is worse than everyone right now
and maybe your teammates could get the ult invisibiliy too when close by
@GiggityxGamer It also bothers me that they put Mirage as a bad legend or even the worst but I am a main and I use the majority of legends in my opinion Mirage is the best they believe that only noobs do not know who the real Mirage is but I was in diamond and always When I use my ulti they don't know where I am and I kill them from behind because they didn't see me and it always works.

i play ballistic and find his tactical really good to take out someone quick and then to use my sling gun for shotguns to swap to or the havoc and i use his ult for hard pushes

I think I have the perfect idea for mirage and it wouldn't be difficult for respaw to add this, my idea that would make mirage meta is: the clones placed by mirage also contain the image of the shot and where we shoot, they shoot, in this case If we have a situation where we put our ultimate, the person being attacked cannot define that they are attacking us because they check the image of all the clones that are attacking us. its perfect and simple
Honestly I feel like mirage is better than ballistic at least for solo q. Ballistics ultimate benefits the most from a competent team which is impossible with apex randoms. Mirage, I have a lot more confidence getting an entry frag and he has more escapability/survivability
As a seer main I really believe that he should of never been nerfed this hard. He is kind of useless now. The fact people are complaining a lot about him really sucks, like y’all can easily avoid him if you just move. It’s not that hard. If I had the choice to bring back 2 of seers kit it would definitely be A - his Cancel heals/revives and his 10 damage. Or B - his Cancel heals/revives and long range scan. I’d feel like it would be fair. Especially going against legends who now counter him. But this is just my opinion y’all don’t have to agree. But I really do hope seer gets his kit back or just a huge buff.

I’m surprisingly best with ramparts ultimate, I get so many kills. Do you have any advice for Gibbys ult. Why do you think rampart is better then Ginny this season
they have different applications, gibbies are very team oriented, staying close to the team and being ready to place his bubble at a moments notice when it’s needed, his ultimate is great for forcing movement and causing chaos. While rampart is very independent, I’ve had both as previous mains. Rampart I feel like focuses way more on her positioning, and setting up for her team go either maintain an advantageous position within a fight, but she is also enabled to do what gibby does and reset, with her faster deployment, ability to block doors and create hard to traverse obstacles, and her ability to cause choke points on high ground and in building I think is what really puts her past gibby, and not even mentioning her minigun, ever have a last team fight and trap a team in a building.. blocking the doors and just waiting with your minigun for them to break down their door and get a minigun to the face.
Maybe I’m a bit biased with my analysis, as I had a bitter sweet end with playing gibby and have had more time with rampart.
But I’d rather have a gibby on my team than a rampart, too many ramparts don’t understand wall placement and just make bad situations.
well the point of the sling is to have a weapon with absolutely nothing. And if you had a gold weapon in every slot it would be op
I think if the sling can have attachments, Ballistic can shine. I always keep sniper rifles with me and if he can have two smgs to back him up, he's gonna be insane.
Hi. Give Valkyrie some horizontal flight time without losing altitude when using her ultimate or allow her to descend and then ascendBird)for a little time during ultimate. I personally think that the devs who do the characters, should go back to the original recipe they used with the original characters, because pushing out characters has shown that they share many things with the previous characters. Characters take time to develop, take your time with them.
I would also like to Add to valkyries ult , that if you dive After using her ult , you are able to shoot an extra swarm of Rockets while Diving 😍
i feel like reworking her ultimate (maybe having THAT be the barrage instead of her tactical) would be great.

I feel Gibby Deserves a better rating this Season honestly. With Snipers being Buffed, the maps being bigger, and his extra health makes him a great long distance Tank. With his Ult Charging up Faster than were all use to, and bubble as Defense, its Good to use if your getting flanked.

I like lifeline bc she gives shield bats and attachments for teammates and even sometimes a mobile if u get lucky and u need one a good lifeline knows how to heal and protect while they are getting revived

The problem with Vantage is her playstyle force her to play as support but she doesn't bring much to the team on that role. She's only good as solo legend.

I think Mirage should be one tier higher. I understand why he is down there but I have to say for me he is just working.
He is a jack of all trades but master of none.
He is a bit recon as you can get info out of his clones. He is a bit support because you get invisible while reviving and respawning. A bit assault because he can push in as secondary fragger with his clones and with his ult he even has an escape option so hes also a bit skirmisher.
Of course he does all these things just OK and not great. But if you play soloQ a lot you can easily adapt to your mates.
And most importantly in my opinion you can craft banners.
When I dont know if one of my mates plays a support legend then i always pick Mirage just so we can craft banners.
As a new castle main I’m in shock that you think his kit has mobility. The placement is riddled with bugs so you’ll move… after the game registered where you want your wall. Not to mention how much the wall bugs out under the ground as well was my shield too.

Ill say imo, the learning curve is steep, but if you practice and steer clear from buying cosmetics, it is a good game. Really listen to the cosmetic part tho. Got us paying $170 for a skin sometimes.
Catalyst is my main and she is very good, she got again nerft but the nerf is somehow a buff and the buff is a nerf. So it activates when enemys look at the spikes and when not they just getting slowed to when you are going up a zipline normally you the hear the spikes when you near but know you just have to look at it.
Imagine if Wraith's passive could reveal the location of anyone who aims at her
I think that Bangalore kinda has this, her passive to quickly run away it tells you that enemies spot her
Would be pretty stupid and unecessary, it just needs to be quicker.
I will say ballistics bubble can deflect bullets so if used right can block a door from being shot at or even sit inside it to heal

I feel lifeline should be c tier. She basically has zero utility for team fights unless your teammates are low health or knocked bc her kit mostly capitalizes on disadvantages. While she’s great at team resets, Newcastle, Gibby, and sometimes Mirage are as well on top of enhancing their own gameplay.
Maybe. Although one of the legends you mentioned, Mirage, actually has no team utility unless your team is down.

I play on Xbox. So its highly optimized for visuals over frame rate. I do add a little color here and there. This video only has some boosted colors in the beginning.
Octane’s pad should provide a 1.5 second speed boost on landing for your team.

Imo ballistic would be better if they took speed reload out of his ult and just give it to the assault class and just give him and his allies ammo regen based on the weapon/mag size giving weapons a gold bolt affect without the sliding needed. Ultimately ballistic ult kinda sucks because you still have to reload so you either have to be as affective with your bullets as you can be or potentially lose a gun fight because of that reload. If ballistic ammo regen can extend a guns ammo count by 6+ without reloading would win a lot more gun fights. And obviously speedy reloads being a passive wouldn't really change him if you do run out of ammo while laying down constant fire.

Placing Mirage at the bottom again I see. So crazy. I'm bamboozling predators every day with mirage. He's very reliant on having good gun skill compared to most legends. The bamboozle gives you about .5 second and a couple less bullets in their mag on average, which for me is a huge advantage. His ultimate wins 3v3s all the time for my squad. Also the invis res is so helpful, and something to note this season is with the crappy changes to respawning, being able to respawn while invisible means you have a much better shot of getting your reinforcements than almost every legend but Crypto and some movement legends
I literally can't remember the last time I actually died to a Mirage using his abilities. Not even kidding. But I am glad you have success on one of my favs.
As a Main Mirage, The invisible Res always get me a good positioning to surprise and Kill.
Just because someone quick taps a potential hologram doesnt mean it does any real value if you're aware they are coming after you and where they are. .5 secs is easy enough for a pred to flick on you. Second, you rely on gun skill is based on the fact Mirage gives a disadvantage in about everything

It wouldn’t necessarily boost his gameplay, but Mirage should be in the Assault category. His kit doesn’t really improve his team like a Support and he doesn’t have the movement of a Skirmisher.
Mirage is basically a skirmisher support. The movement comes from having his ult every 60 seconds which allows him to get away with a lot of things whether that be getting out of a fight or into it. The "why" for Mirage as a support is he is selfish and keeps himself alive so that he can get you back. Unlike the other supports who will die prioritizing a rez or not having and escape. Mirage can dip out and stay around long enough to refresh his team. Overall the support passive is fine for him and much better than the previously skirmisher class. He doesn't really have assault utility either so he doesn't belong there.
