You have the most amazing property and up-to-date equipment. Congrats on your channel very very good. I live in Vietnam but was a farmer in Australia. You can take the boy from the land but you cannot take the land from the boy
Young Americans like you give me hope that there is a good future for our Nation. Thanks for sharing your videos. I’ve been binge watching since your first video. Keep up the good work young man.👍🏻💪🏻
Yes, that is very true Chet, land rollers started probably 35 years ago and were used around here for a lot of hay and pasture land leveling out the gopher mounds and molehills. And then we started using them for rolling everything that was planted. Cheers from Chigwell Alberta Canada, hoping you guys don't have anymore break downs for planting..
When I was a kid my first field work on the dairy farm was rolling oats. I was 8 in 1965, we rolled the oat fields to flatten them out also. We mowed the oats in the milk stage to chop and put in the Harvestore. Rolling kept the haybind from pushing dirt and making piles. Our roller was only 8 ft wide and was made out of cement, I pulled it with an M. Good times !!! Enjoy your videos, thx
Enjoying the videos a lot! I appreciate that in this one you explained why you are doing the rolling. Those type of explanations are helpful to us city slickers.
Dad and I built our own land roller for beans it's 40 feet wide. It cost us about 8 thousand dollars to build. We roll all of our soybeans and some of our corn. We like how it breaks the corn stalks ahead of the planter if we notill soybeans . My family is 75 percent done with our corn but we have 400 acres of corn and soybeans to custom plant this weekend. We pull our roller with our challenger 55 . Nice video stay safe and farm on my friends !
Grasshopper... you a damn good farmer. You make the rest of us that can't quite get our farming together... jealous. My Dad had a land roller, 6 foot, was the kind with wooden planks on it, He replaced the wood with metal surface. Your bog fast farm equipment is just somethin to watch. Your northern accent is the very best. keep up the good work.
Chet, Dougo has you doing all the "fill in jobs" so you learn everything on your farm. That way when you take over you can teach your children. My grandfather did the same with me, I was doing the plowing, harrowing, he did the planting. For hay he mowed, I tedded and raked and baled.
Yeah we don’t have no rocks in our fields down here in North Carolina we might hit a stump ever once in a while but thats about it, we enjoy watching you guys, and really like that wide equipment, thanks
Can’t wait to see you guys planting again. Love the videos keep up the good work. FBN Todd sounds like a beast. We are almost done with planting season.
If you ever see your UPS guy Matt, tell him hi from his brother Fatboy! I love your channel! I am a former dairy farmer turned polebarn contractor out of Osceola, WI! You keep up the great vidoes and God Bless you all! Stay safe!
Enjoyed listening to you on off the husk podcast Chet and Nicole. Hope that your luck starts picking up from here on in now and the busted wheel bearing is the last big thing to go wrong for you guys.
Anyone notice that even Chet's camera needs a haircut? Hair in the eyes everywhere! If Millennial Farmer can give himself a "quarantine haircut" so can Chet... right Chet? 😎 So just maybe Chet might be willing to get a "quarantine haircut" if the channel gets to 60k subs? 🚜
I'd like to see you guy go all the way to a million subscriptions in my book you have by far the best video chet is a very hard working young man always on top of things has a fantastic working relationship with his dad nothing but the best
Hey man I really appreciate the vids. It's cool to see how you and your dad get along so good. He must be a proud father for sure. Keep up the great work. And to everyone watching let's spread the word about his vids and get him over 100k this year
Big Daddy Dougo is the smooth operator but you are the hottie with show and go. I hope the cam still works, it was painful seeing it get run over. Sleep deprivation makes you feel and act stoned, not that you would know that feeling. With any luck the bean and corn Gods will let you finish and catch up on the beauty sleep. Good vid Winny, Peace.
Looks like you guys are hitting it hard. We currently have both 24 row planters running steady,. Almost done with corn. Sprayed 850 of corn yesterday. Seed trailer looks impressive. 😎
Wow 84 foot land roller and 100 acres an hour. Back in the day the mid eighties we had a 12 foot cultapacker with two small pups That and a 20 foot field cultivator worked the 1456 Farmall pretty good keep up the good work.
New sub, been binge watching for bout 3 days. 👍 They do alot of peanuts and cotton down here in the panhandle of Florida. That was the first land roller I ever saw. Great videos 👍 need more dougo cam!
I think you put the lug nuts on backwards on the planter the other day you should look to see if they are tapered if so turn them around or the tire will snap off the studs.
Here in North Iowa farmers are also burning the midnight oil. I live on an acreage and big equipment has been busy all around me. The weather has been perfect for them.
That big green thing at the end of the video.......it is a pakker, ya know like the Green Bay Packers.........................oh sh*# that is Wisconsin. Good times watchin' the vids, Larson Farms, hope you all have a prosperous and safe year!!!!!!
If you're looking for a spare set of markers, incase Dougo ruins another one, I see that Steffes auctions currently has a new pair for a 24x30 1770 planter listed with no bid on them starting at $500. The auction ends may 6th.
Your videos are awesome you and dougo do great job your wife does awesome editing and her channel is great to look forward to when you both put something out
Remember yesterday when that cheater bar hit you in the chest? That's kinda what being run over by a roller is like, times by 43,000. (Great video, glad you're making progress!)

Educational and...entertaining
Fascinating stuff
Every time I see Sr. Close to a steering wheel I get nervous. 😬 the combine still remembers the encounter.
I think you put the lug nuts on backwards on the planter the other day you should look to see if they are tapered if so turn them around or the tire will snap off the studs.
Last video, commented on LEDs for planter. Check out Larsen Lights in Fergus Falls. Kenny is great and lights reasonable. He gets my 👍👍
There's the video I've been waiting for, lol. After your IG story on it I didn't think it survived😲🤦♂️ Hammer down Dougo😎👍 〽️

Here in Louisiana we hip up row beds for our row crops and run a roller over them before planting.
If you listen carefully, you can hear the Case squeal in delight as you insert the second nozzle...
Seemed like you got it stopped pretty fast when the GoPro fell off lol keep putting it in the ground God bless you and your family
Larson you are killing it lately man! U deserve a ton more subs. Quality content sir well done!!
Got to be the first time for a double penetration and a Winnie the poo reference in the same video 🤣
