    I’m glad to see somebody to show your journey. I too have gone thru Alopecia Aerate for 30 yrs. Wearing wigs are not fun but a must. I’ve used aloe plants , coconut oil, to eating healthy. Finding ways to grow my own hair hasn’t been easy. Now I have more in the sides and back but curly. 😊. The top is the main prob so I’m very interested to watch your videos! God Bless and great information to hear from you. Aloha

    Hi Deepa. Your videos have helped me so much over the years. I was also diagnosed with alopecia areata in 2017. My hair growth was starting to get better however,. I got covid this year which obviously made me shed a lot of hair due to stress and the medications. Just wanted you to know that your videos have always helped so much. Sending you loads of love and strength from India :)

Also I guess you were using iRestore hair laser, is that not helping you to prevent hair fall? Are you not using iRestore hair laser currently? Curious to know whether laser devices be of any use in these type of situations

    I have Alopecia Areata and am losing hair in an ophiasis pattern, more on the left side than the right. Gave up trying to combat it through diet and exercise alone and started using contact immunotherapy with squaric acid. Not an enjoyable process but the clinical data is quite hopeful.

    • @NadiaYasir1
      @NadiaYasir1 Před 2 lety +2

      Ophiasis shows delayed results when responding to treatment. I used to have regular Alopecia Areata and was in remission for 5 years due to AIP but last year it came back as ophiasis but I did not know so I blamed myself for having slow or no results with AIP, light therapy and accupunture. I recently started doing Ayurvedic treatment with promising results.

    I've been dealing with hair loss for about a year now, although it took me some time to realize it. Thinning and a lot of shedding. I have no diagnosed ai diseases but not sure! I am using a hair supplement, collagen supplement, zinc supplement, multivitamin, a hair serum from The Ordinary and recently started a new serum from Vegamour. Hopefully some lessening of the shedding results from the steps. I watched your video about stress management and take a meditation class on top of my regular 3-4x weekly yoga practice. I'm hopeful!

    Im 21 and have hair loss caused by hormone imbalances too. Too low estrogen, which runs in my family because another family member has Sjorgens and lupus
    I was on bio-identical and that helped me so much but I didn’t want to live on it bc I’d like my body to just be able to work lol. I’m looking into herbs and remedies to get my E up but I don’t have much faith because I’ve already tried herbs and vitamins for it

    Hi Deepa!! I've had alopecia areata for 1 year now, 2 bald patches but also a lot of thinning. My dermatologist told me I have alopecia areata and telogen effluvium. My alopecia areata is almost gone, I have one bald spot left since March 2021 lol, but its so tiny. Im still shedding hair so the telogen effluvium is active. I think my hair is shedding because I feel depressed and sometimes anxious (a lot of things had happened in my life since 2019). I also have an autoimmune desease (Hashimoto's thyroiditis) but I've had it for 10 years now so I dont think its the reason why my hair is falling out. I just want to tell you maybe you dont feel stressed but you are going through something in your life and alopecia is coming back again in a different way. My dermatologist told me telogen effluvium and alopecia areata are related to the same thing in my case ( anxiety disorder). Your hair looks like telogen effluvium to me, because mine looks like yours. I think the scalp process is similar in both Alopecia areata and telogen effluvium, the scalp gets inflamed and so hair falls out. I hope you get better, hugs from Argentina.

      Thank you so much for sharing your hairloss with us!! You are absolutely correct, TE is highly linked to stress. I have definitely been stressed in the past several months and am implementing lifestyle changes to help me relax. My current hair loss is definitely hormonal, although I’m sure the stress is affecting it as well 💕

    • @DeepaBerar
      @DeepaBerar  Před 2 lety

      TE is highly linked to stress! I’d make managing that a huge priority. Also TE is usually temporary so there is light at the end of the tunnel 🤗

      @Deepa Berar thank you! Yes, I'm trying to do that, but I'm worried because it's starting to get noticeable. I am afraid of what people might think. :( Did you wear a toppper when your hair was at its worst? I would be very happy if you read this and answer me because I don't know how to handle that and I want to know your opinion because you have been through this. Hugs! I've seen you did great last time and you can do it again! :)

      @lindamaribeldemarco1481 Před 2 lety +1

      @@natasabernard hey! I think we have to find the trigger and work on that, in my case everytime I notice Im sad or anxious I see I shed a lot of hair, when I feel happy my shedding is normal. Maybe find what makes you happy, for example if you want a new job, meet new people. And also I think its very important to eat and sleep well. Im shedding since december 2020 and whenever I feel down it gets worst. I hope you can find what makes you happy. Maybe you could also try to go to a therapist, it is helping me. Hugs I understand its hard but we have to find the cause :)

    My hair is falling out like yours right now. Exact the same way. Rice water helps with grey hair.. ive done it worked for me. Not sure if it will work for everyone. I saw my white hair turn natural color agian.. the tip of the hair was white and the root was turn brown.

  • @ashagupta2408

    Deepa, it is best you consult a homeopathy doctor . Homeopathy will fix the root cause which is the autoimmune and that hair loss of all manner will not occur again and again.

    Have your Thyroid check guys for hair loss Alopecia areata.
    Problems with the thyroid can be caused by: iodine deficiency. autoimmune diseases, in which the immune system attacks the thyroid, leading either to hyperthyroidism (caused by Graves' disease) or hypothyroidism (caused by Hashimoto's disease) inflammation (which may or may not cause pain)
