The following fall, Ben became a regular on "THE FRANK SINATRA SHOW", on Frank's insistence {"I wouldn't sign the deal until the producers guaranteed that they would put Ben Blue on the payroll. I knew that if things went wrong on the live show, I could count on Ben to get us out of any difficulty that might arise"}. He loved working with Frank, and he DID help Sinatra out of a few unexpected incidents while the show was "live" {"I often had to improvise a few things when the show ran too short, or when a piece of scenery fell unexpectedly.
