It’s “loo uh ville” but it all rolls together so it sounds like loovulle most of the time. Kentucky has an insane amount of state parks…you could spend so much time exploring them. I’ve lived here almost 20 years and I’ve barely made a dent. 🥰

I love the caves and it must have been so atmospheric with the lanterns offering ever changing glimpses of your surroundings rather than being fully illuminated.
Finally seeing a van lifer use the rest stops. Some are really nice and genuinely safe. I also grew up some of my life in Mammoth Cave, KY.

I'm hitting all the states and national parks too! I did the same WV and KY area last year when I was also doing the Blue Ridge Parkway
