Great to see him back doing road work and running again for this fight. The cycling is great for the last few fights, but I think we'll see a different McGregor in terms of cardio for this next fight.
The Mober I think his cardio was pretty decent in the mayweather fight,just a completely different sport so his body wasn't used to it. I think he stopped running a lot after the chad fight because of his knee. Hopefully he comes in great shape for this one because it could go in to later rounds. I believe kabib will be a lot slower in the fourth and the fifth and conor could too him if not an early ko.

mahammad haq he started getting tired once the forth round was over, now you can say that getting tired in the fourth round is decent if it's an MMA 5 round fight because that's most of the fight done with good enough cardio, but when you have 12 whole rounds to possibly fight in, getting tired by the fourth round is by no means decent, that's no where close to 12 round shape, actual heavy weights are able to last much longer then 4 rounds before they start getting tired, getting tired by the fourth round should of never happened to someone as small as conor but it happened because he didn't train properly.

I think the style he uses requires a lot of energy because of how explosive he is.i think he did well considering all facts,mayweather was smart to go to the body and started backing him up after the first few rounds. Since conor is a distance fighter,when people pressure him he gets very uncomfortable. He even mentioned it in the post fight,at least now he understands what to work on.

Aaron W he didn’t cut any weight for the Diaz fight which is why he weighed in at 168. He had a staph infection and was on antibiotics 2 weeks out from the fight. That’s why he gassed in the first fight along with the fact that his pace of fighting at a heavier weight would gas anyone out.. all except Diaz. Diaz doesn’t get tired. So when they had a second fight 5 months later, the recovery period in between the time he fought Diaz is why he gassed again. It takes a few months for that stuff to wear off of your body. So when he fought Diaz he gassed again. When he fought Alvarez, they prepared for a wrestler, with no change of opponents. He had just came from fighting Diaz 3 months ago. So of course he was in the best shape of his life. He had early weigh ins as well, so it gave him time to make use of the appropriate acclamations and recovery time he needed. He was very conditioned in that fight.. the rest is history. Now the fight with Floyd.. he relied on weight and size being a factor in that fight. He didn’t have early weigh ins and the day before weigh ins he was 163. He had to lose 9 pounds and then wait all that extra time, which from experience kills your body. He went out there and truly gassed that time around. Hopefully against Khabib at 155, he has the early weigh ins and he continues running outside while the sun is up. I hope he gets up and runs early in the morning, because the last time he ran outside was for the Mendes fight. When you run outside it opens your lungs up. When you perform in air conditioning, you’ll able to go the distance. Running on treadmills does not get you in shape unless you mix it up continuously. He was in great shape during that fight and that is also why he never gassed at 145, regardless of how short his fights were. If he continues eating right, running outside early in the morning before the sun comes up and throughout the day while the sun is out, continues doing jiu jitsu, working on his wrestling tactics, he’ll be in good enough shape physically and mentally to go into this fight knowing he can go the distance. He needs to be in the red zone all the time. His heart needs to become comfortable with beating fast so he can be conditioned during fast pace match ups-which is basically his fighting style.
Lion Heart Running isn't some magical form of cardio, other forms work just as well.
