Me, having a mixed blend of Castor, Olive and coconut oil on my scalp right now 😐 and then I've been wondering why have I been getting dandruff smh. I started oiling my scalp at 23 suddenly started getting dandruff at 24 years old. I've been fighting with it for a year now🥺
@@yomomsahoe5797 Yeah but my hair is still the same nothing happened. I also found a remedy for the issue. It actually wasn't dandruff it was dry scalp. Peppermint oil & apple cider vinegar washes helped me calm my scalp. Had to detox stop using too many hair oils.

That's why you only use them as carrier oils.Add a few drops of FRESH lemon juice( no pulp) or tea tree oil to the carrier oil . The carrier oil ( grape seed oil , coconut oil, or olive oil... etc) will act as a nourishing/ moisturizing agent and the lemon juice or tea tree oil will act as an anti-fungal agent. 😊 ( tea tree works best but it's very strong , and most ppl's skin is sensitive to it, but it has phenomenal anti-fungal properties- if you don't believe me look up what kills malassezia 🤷🏾♂️)😊

I never used oil on my hair and had bad dandruff. Eczema on my scalp spread and took my hair. I started using tea tree oil (diluted) on my scalp and Castro oil (on my hair not scalp). It grew my hair right back. I was feeling so depressed cuz I've always had long thick hair and it was getting short and thin due to my eczema. I always felt like my hair was the only thing that made me pretty, since that's what people always complimented me on. But I'm happy it's growing back. 😁 I hope to feel more comfortable and confident without it being for my hair.
@@spartan____ yes it helped a whole lot. My hair returned to normal. And scalp isn't flaky and itchy all the time. Also taking caprylic acid pills helps a whole lot.
@@toddh323 coconut oil/olive oil and water. That's what worked for me. Also I should add that if you normally have a greasy scalp you should be careful using oils in ur hair. But if your scalp and hair is dry, you should use a reasonable amount of oil and make sure you are eating as healthy as possible. Because the problem is within your body. Heal the inside and it will show on the outside. I'm still working on it, but I love sweets and sodium too much 😩.

Clarifying shampoo has saved my life! I was skeptical about it cos i was told you have to use it in a certain process, drys your hair etc till a brand i used made 1, which was so gentle but clears up my seborrheic dermatitis flakes every time
if you are going to cut out some of the most commonly used oils by people, then you should also recommend the ones that won't cause dandruff. Really incomplete and dangerous way to put out content, solving nothing really. In fact, I don't even see the cmnt section being addressed by the creator in anyway. So take this as a feedback asap!
It does solve something in that he's telling people suffering from dandruff to not use these extremely common oils. Bet a ton of people with chronic dandruff who have been using those oils or were planning to do so stopped after watching this video. Sounds like he did exactly what the title said he was going to do in this video to me... you seem mad about the fact that you can't use these oils on your scalp, but sadly it is very true that these oils will very likely aggravate dandruff and itching if you are someone with a lot of dandruff already.

He did say that dandruff is caused by malassezia and using these oils can cause the malassezia fungus to perpetuate and continue to grow on your scalp. Therefore explaining how these main oils feed the fungus instead of starve the fungus so it seems that he did his job in this short video 🤷🏾♀️. It's a short video not a 4 min long one so it doesn't hurt to look up information yourself as well.

Wrong my friend. Coconut oil is actually widely used to stop dandruff. Olive oil in small quantities, like once a month is good. castor oil is believed to be very healthy for hair. For heavy dandruff like i had. Quit sugar, quit white breads, use coconut oil, once a week and avocado oil once a week. Once a month cut an avocado in two, put in a glass, add honey, a big spoon, in the same glass, add olive oil a big spoon and mix. Once liquid put on hair for 3-4 hours as a conditioner and cleaner and energiser. I went from being snow flock to everyone asking me how i have such pretty hair. Also, one more trick i learned during a trip to Italy and Greece a nice trick. Those people, Italians and like Greeks have such pretty hair and Skin!!, because of their natural foods and mediterranean diets of theirs. So in this two countries i learned to put in a jar olive oil, honey, garlic, turmeric, Rosmarin, Basilic, lemon, A little bit of paprika and ginger. You mix it and every morning you take a big spoon and have one garlic without chewing with the rest of it because it’s mixed and you swallow directly. If the garlic is big of course you cut it off in small pieces in the jar. The jar must be filled with Honey. By preference forest honey. This will kill forever, eczema, dandruff, inflammation, any type of colds, muscle pain, fatigue and blah blah blah and all that bad ass illnesses. It’s a bomb of a nutrient mix!! It’s a cleanser, and an energiser and helps both Genders in increasing sex performance and libido.. Also for hair. Rosemarin is very very very good.

I use Castor oil and help my daughter hair become stronger and longer. I use it with a deep conditioner and a few drops on a dry scalp. I never had issues.
I use rosemerry and i think its working better, i ran a lot of stuff on my own and i find that useing special dandruff shampoos 2 or 3 times a week and heavily rubbing it into the scalp helps.

I have had sensitive skin and dryness dandruff on my scalp and face body since childhood and my mama always putted coconut oil in my hair growing up since childhood to now which grew my hair long but my dandruff got worse growing up now the back of my scalp is always knotted full of dry skin my scalp is full of dandruff my roots are full of dandruff and I had shower few weeks ago thinking it will call my knotted dry hair at the back of my scalp but it still got knotted again after shower I only putted Moroccan Argan hair cream in my roots I didn't use any oil I have different oils on my shelf coconut oil aloe vera castor oil rosemary oil rice water tea tree oil lavender oil peppermint oil I also have herbal duo peppermint hair bars shampoo conditioner and I have shea butter hair cream so please if anyone knows how I can sort out my dry dandruff knotted hair please let your girl know it will mean a lot
Just use Teatree oil but I thought coconut oil was actually good for your hair. I could be wrong, but I feel like you could use coconut oil at least once a month just not all the time but I would definitely recommend tea tree oil if I had to put oil on my hair.

@@karuntej6455 Try the shampoo called Nizoral or the one This CZcamsr mentioned. It should be found worldwide it can also be used on the face since seborrheic dermatitis can also affect it not the scalp only you could get ( flakes on eyebrows, between nasolabial folds. ) etc. I use almond oil for my scalp and it wont take the Dandruff away completely. Products like Zinc/Salicylic shampoo, ointments or lotion containing ketoconazole 1% like the Nizoral i mentioned that should be available worldwide. Also apple cider vinegar to calm down the scalp can help ( Always dilute with water since it's acidic) if you have scratches on your scalp you can't use ACV because it can burn, wait a bit for them to heal. This is what my doctor recommended to me here in Finland and it has worked.

Jamaican Black Castor oil has helped me. I put a few drops of organic tea tree oil in it and it's just fine. Everyone's body is different.

Coconut oil was awful. It caused horrible flaking on my and my daughters scalp. It took me a while to realize the culprit.

I have had sensitive skin and dryness dandruff on my scalp and face body since childhood and my mama always putted coconut oil in my hair growing up since childhood to now which grew my hair long but my dandruff got worse growing up now the back of my scalp is always knotted full of dry skin my scalp is full of dandruff my roots are full of dandruff and I had shower few weeks ago thinking it will call my knotted dry hair at the back of my scalp but it still got knotted again after shower I only putted Moroccan Argan hair cream in my roots I didn't use any oil I have different oils on my shelf coconut oil aloe vera castor oil rosemary oil rice water tea tree oil lavender oil peppermint oil I also have herbal duo peppermint hair bars shampoo conditioner and I have shea butter hair cream so please if anyone knows how I can sort out my dry dandruff knotted hair please let your girl know it will mean a lot
Just use Teatree oil but I thought coconut oil was actually good for your hair. I could be wrong, but I feel like you could use coconut oil at least once a month just not all the time but I would definitely recommend tea tree oil if I had to put oil on my hair.

Trust the guy his beard looks insane i agree olive oil made my scalp have oily dandruff that sticks on my hair, Castor oil made it feel weird and its like soft, coconut oil i dont even need to say anything

@@karuntej6455 Try the shampoo called Nizoral or the one This CZcamsr mentioned. It should be found worldwide it can also be used on the face since seborrheic dermatitis can also affect it not the scalp only you could get ( flakes on eyebrows, between nasolabial folds. ) etc. I use almond oil for my scalp and it wont take the Dandruff away completely. Products like Zinc/Salicylic shampoo, ointments or lotion containing ketoconazole 1% like the Nizoral i mentioned that should be available worldwide. Also apple cider vinegar to calm down the scalp can help ( Always dilute with water since it's acidic) if you have scratches on your scalp you can't use ACV because it can burn, wait a bit for them to heal. This is what my doctor recommended to me here in Finland and it has worked.
